What a great experience!! This is a very laid back experience. You can either take this tour at your own pace or you can pay an additional $20 US or $40 Barbadian dollars for a guided tour, which is what we did. He explained EVERYTHING to us step by step, giving us the history of the location. It's a former sugar cane factory which was built by slaves back in the 1600's. With some of the original structures still standing today!! It's a family run operation that takes family very seriously. They have a children's playground where kids can go while their parents do the run tasting I would highly recommend going here.

This was a very interesting experience. To start off, visiting the distillery and grounds is completely free including the onsite parking. The place kind of seemed deserted when we arrived; the only people that we saw were ourselves the the occasionally grounds keeper. The tour around the factory is self guided and at your own pace. They have signs and pictures that give you information as you walk through. It didn't seem like much was going on in the factory, but we read that they are actually producing rum there. At the end of the self guided tour you end up at the tasting bar and sales shop. At the tasting bar you are able to taste test 6 rums of your choice all for 10 US Dollars/ 20 Barbadian Dollars. The bar tender was very friendly and knowledgeable, and they did accept credit card for payment. Overall a nice little excursion for the day.

I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival at Foursquare because I wasn't expecting multiple sites on the FREE, unguided tour. There was a museum, an atrium type area with beautiful artwork, the actual Distillery, an area where you can pick up maps and such, a park for kids (we saw the sign, we didn't venture there) and beautifully manicured areas in between where you can take pictures. Not to mention the bar, where you can purchase gift packs as well as do a tasting of rums for 10$BBD. It was enjoyable and totally worth it!

Amazing experience - this is a real factory, owned by a inspirational family. If your Rum drinker, this tour is a must. Be sure to do the rum tasting after!

A great self tour which is free of charge. Go to the Heritage Shop for rum tasting which is very informative, thanks to Debbie. We got the bus from Oistins and caught a lift back with Debbie's Dad, William great place to go for a morning or afternoon. You can purchase in the shop or at the airport on way home. Best rum in the world..

At first sort of deserted, but once we met Wayne in the tasting room, everything was amazing! He is laid back, welcoming and very knowledgeable. He learned it all from his Dad who also works at the distillery. Incredible visit.

Tasting: $5 USD for 4 rums; $10USD for approx 15 rums. Well worth it

As you enter from the main road, you make a drive down a long, straight road. Along both sides are sugar cane growing, as I would assume it had always been. Perfect price - $0.00. You get to make your own tour. When you first step into the distillery, you are greeted with the rich aroma of molasses which is heavy in the air. There is a small building with many different cultural items/displays about life on the island that is a rich, hidden gem. I would have never expected to find anything such as this at a distillery. Also, this facility is going above and beyond in the attempt to be as environmentally responsible. Re-use of CO2, waste water reclamation.

Self guided tour and cheap CHEAP rum in the gift shop. They say no photos but it's pretty laid back.
