  Friendly, efficient, needed replacement wipers, came out when it suited us, and when we returned to the airport were there to meet us as my husband couldnt walk far. Very good service, would recommend highly. We have rebooked for next year. Thanks for making the start to our holiday perfect

  We rented a small little car that was fun to tour the whole island. The customer service was excellent and the follow through was impeccable. The staff even allowed me to use their internet to find a location from the airport and they even showed me how to get there on a map. We ran into a little issue upon returning the vehicle and couldn't resolve it there because we were late for our flight. I emailed them when I got back and they took the extra time to research and resolve it for me. Thank you! I will definitely rent from your company again!

  Stoutes car rental is the largest and best car rental service in Barbados – with an updated fleet of vehicles. I’ve been using Stoutes car rental service for over 15 years when visiting Barbados. Whether visiting for weeks at a time or stopping for several hours on a cruise ship I always use Stoutes car rental.
  
  I find the staff to be very courteous, friendly, and professional at all times. On my recent trip to the island I picked up my vehicle from the airport. I was surprise the representative knew who I was as soon as I walked into the office (not sure how she knew) – she said “Mr. Browne, your vehicle is ready for you. I’ll bring it up for you”. I gave her my credit card and was in my vehicle within 5 minutes.
  
  Stoutes car rental has the most updated vehicles and provides a top notch service - the entire process starting with reservation, pickup, and drop off is relative quick and smooth. I wouldn’t think of using any other car rental service while in Barbados.

  I rented a car a couple days ago and the service was excellent. Kudos to Nicholas and Lance who were very efficient.Keep up the good work.

  Rented a car through stoutes on my only 2 days off whilst working on the island. After having the car for 30mins, it broke down and as instructed, I called the office to have a mechanic come out. After an hour, the mechanic turned up and said that the alternator belt was missing.
  I asked if it was possible for me to have a replacement car sent out, to which he exclaimed that it it would be faster to fix it.
  He left me sitting at a petrol station alone for another hour whilst trying to buy one to fix the car. Several problems and 6 hours later (as well as me suggesting a replacement car be sent out) the car was finally fixed (oil in the car was virtually empty too) and despite not test driving the vehicle, he was on his way. The following day, the cars fan belt continued to make a horrendous noise.
  Being 6.30pm by the time I was able to leave the petrol station (burnt, hungry and having wasted 1 of 2 days off on the island), I had missed out on traveling to and visiting all attractions that I had planned to.
  After explaining the situation to the agent when giving the car back and asking for compensation for my loss of car use for the day, I was offered half a day's rental payment back.
  Over the following 4 days, I called the office asking to speak to the owner, Mary, however my calls were not returned.
  Very disappointed in the service from this business and despite being glad I was compensated minimally, was upset that I was not given my money back for the whole days loss of use of the vehicle and not contacted by the owner.
  I will not be recommending this company to future travellers and have asked the butler of our villa to refrain from recommending the company to any further visitors.
