Great location the gap is behind the hotel, beach bar service is good.
The hotel grounds is in need of some care but a nice hotel otherwise

Room was clean, grounds in need of some work and getting tired. Staff were friendly and helpful. Wifi in rooms intermittent but pool and lobby okay. Location was ideal, 5 minute walk to the Bars and Restaurant in St Lawrence Gap

Definitely not up to Divi standards. This could be a beautiful resort if Divi put some effort into it. Rooms have been updated but we had to pull the refrigerator out into the kitchen cuz it hit the wall and wouldn't open. When it was pulled out we couldn't use the kitchen draws. Maid was useless.

Nice apartments lovely staff in hotel
But the beach restaurant of the hotel which looks nice staff sound like that where reading from a script and a little false
Service was slow and no real atmosphere.

Nice place to stay close to the beach and restaurants. Beautiful property to look at and enjoy what it offers to guests. Liked a lot the different vendors on the gap. Very friendly people.

Nice hotel, good location, bus stop right infront, beachfront restaurant, access to dover beach - overall not too bad experience.

Downside: the ground floor reception area needs refurbishment, housekeeping leaves their trolleys on ground floor which gives it a feeling of a cheap hotel although its not bad. Ground floor fountain floor areas should be raised to prevent the rain water flooding the pathways

The worst experience ever at any hotel that I’ve stayed at around the world just l just checked out today had to wait three hours to check in once I got into the room I had to keep calling for the basic things all hotel rooms should have the sheets on the pull were dirty, water pressure in room was awful. It’s was just bad! I ask to speak to a manager spent five days and have yet to spoke to a manager. The staff just keep giving me a around. At he end of the stay I met a family from DC with the same issues. Never again!

The staff was very rude, unaccomdating and cleanliness was lacking. Repeatedly called for maintenance for various reasons. Pictures are not a reflection of the room I stayed in. Main pool is being built but not indicated when you make the reservation. Total disappointment.

Great service. The food wasn't ground breaking but it was gooddespite this, my wife says that the coconut cheesecake may be the best that she has ever hadif you ask me, the price doesn't match the quality of the food. It's worth a visit but there are much better places just a few minutes walk away

Had to get last minute reservations due to a canceled flight. Beach is real close, and you can walk the Gap which has a lot to offer. Staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms might could use a little touch up here or there, but it was still comfortable for my wife and myself with two kids.

When we decide to make a trip back this way, I would definitely look at trying to stay here again.

This is our third time in the last 12 months to stay at Southwinds. We like the staff and is location on St Lawrence Gap is perfect. Sand, sun, and surf combined with excellent night life.

Excellent location near the Gap. Grounds are well kept and spacious. Three nice pools and plenty of ocean front. Room aren't the newest or best, but beds are comfortable and clean. Restaurant and bar on site makes this a winner. I'd go back again without a doubt. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Staff was friendly and prompt. Rooms need deep cleaning, mold was in the shower, and there are no bath tubs! It is a great location with walking distance to the gap and street vendors.
