This is a great place to explore and see a traditional Muslim home of a wealthy family in Sarajevo from a couple of hundred years ago.

Nice little museum - roughly five minutes from the Bazaar quarter The house as such is a neat place, offering views of a representative mansion from the Ottoman times. Whilst I was not overly impressed by the interiors, I loved the overall ambience with the courtyard and the balcony

Hike a road above Sebilj, and walk pass a university campus to Glodina, we reached the place. It's in a neighbourhood. We noticed the entrance only when we reached the front gate. A beautiful Ottoman style house.

Ottoman Era house built by Glođo family and later inhabited by Svrzo family. It house of a very whealthy family and you can find a lot of different rooms for each occasion and purpose. You can spend most relaxing minutes in kamarija that overviews garden. Worthy visiting.

If you have time, you definitely should walk up hill to this house. It's well organized and the owner has a lot of knowledge of the history.

Absolutely worth the walk up from the city center. Hidden in a side street, this house gives an insight into how an Ottoman family used to live. Calm and relaxing atmosphere.

Worth the walk up the hill to visit this jewel of an Ottoman-era house. The inside is furnished according to the tastes of the wealthy Muslim family that used to inhabit it, and offers a unique look at this aspect of Sarajevan history and culture.

It is nice to see and get the feeling how people used to build houses and how they were living. It is definitely worth seeing it. From old city center it is about 15 to 20 minutes away. And be prepared to walk upwards the hill.

A not to be missed museum house if you go to Sarajevo. Amazing architecture and document of the (rich) muslim housing of the past.

An oasis of white washed walls, cobbled courtyards. This 18 th century house museum is brilliantly restored and appropriately furnished, helping visitors imagine Sarajevo life in eras past. Notice the cekme dolaf, designed to prevent inter-sex fretanization
