Customer service was terrible. The owner was rude. Looks luxurious in pictures but in all reality it's a hole in the wall. Do yourself a favor and pass on staying here.

Place looked nice on the outside but the inside not so much. Bathrooms were making plumbing noises all throughout the night making it hard to sleep. Was suppose to stay for 3 nights but only stayed for a night and a half due to there being bugs crawling in the bed. There was a dead bird outside and other bugs throughout the premises. I understand there will be bugs in the house sometimes but in the bed (not knowing if it’s bed bugs or not) is very disturbing. So with that being said we contacted the owner and they were very rude saying only to contact them in an emergency and that our situation was not one. Which in our case bugs crawling in the bed is an emergency. So we left in the middle of the night to find a hotel because we felt uncomfortable staying there. I have been trying to get an at least a partial refund which I was not able to get. On top of this bad experience my friend and I were told that the neighborhood outside of the gated villas is a dangerous place and we should not be walking around. Which we were unaware of before renting the place. If you went to stay in a bug infested place that is basically in the hood than by all means stay here. If not please save your money and time and book some place else.

We had a group of six adults staying here in September. It's a gated community, very safe. They gave us 2 sets of keys so we could split of if desired. The house we were in was very spacious and clean. It had pots, plates, flatware and most kitchen appliances (toaster, coffee maker, blender, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, stove top (NO oven)). There's plenty of seating room to just hang out or watch TV. The beds are very comfortable. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom. The pool was clean and just the right size to take dip. It's a great locationabout a 15 minute walk to the beach. There's a grocery store a block away that has almost anything you want.

We stayed here for a week in July and had a blast. The villa had more than enough room for 8 adults and twin boys. The property manager Brumm even provided play pens and a crib for the kiddies. The air conditioned rooms were very comfortable, and the washer and dryer allowed us to keep our towels clean for trips to the beaches and the beautiful pool in the backyard. I would definitely stay here again.

My family and I (group of 10, all ages!) stayed here in April this year and had an absolute blast! The villa was spacious, modern and clean. More than enough space for everyone to enjoy dinner together or relax at the pool. Just minutes away from the beach and nightlife. Highly recommend it to everyone!

A ver A mi en particular, me gustan los espacios abiertos y acogedores; las cabañas modernas de Merlot me han gustado (al menos en la que me he quedado ya que los espacios como los patios varÃan entre cabañas; y la mÃa es relativamente mediana) las cabañas cuentan con piscina, cocina, lavadora, WiFi, y tiene (en mi cabaña) 4 habitaciones con cama matrimonial mediana con baño incluido y una ultima habitación pequeña en lo mas alto de la casa con dos camas individuales sin baño. Además de lo mencionado se incluye un baño extra en planta baja, sala de estar, comedor. La cabaña en si es muy practica y cómoda aunado a esto esta protegida por un sistema de seguridad antirobo. Le darÃa 5 estrellas pero el único defecto que le vi a esta es que las cerraduras de algunas puertas de balcón están oxidadas pero la mayorÃa funciona como debe.

Very nice villa. A home away from home while staying in Aruba. The owners are very friendly, helpful, and accessible.
The property is well cared for. There are still some areas under construction but once you enter the villa you can see the attention to detail that was put into the property.
Close enough to the beach and main strip (15min walk) but I would recommend driving especially if you want to stay out for a while and walk the strip. Especially during the hot and humid day.

7 of us took a group trip to visit with a friend attending medical school in Aruba and we could not have stayed at a better place. Our villa was perfect for the 8 of us. It was spacious, modern, clean and very accommodating of our standards. We had the absolute pleasure of meeting Bram, who looked after us during our stay. He answered all of our questions about the villa and gave solid advice on where to go and what to do. The location of the villas is close to anywhere you would want to go. For those who don't know, the taxi system in Aruba is top notch. Anywhere from the villas was between $8-$15 away, except the airport which was about $35. I very highly recommend staying at these villas if you are okay with not having an all inclusive service. My group ranged from ages 22-29 and it was perfect for us. We had our privacy when we wanted to hang out in the massive pool deck, BBQ and relax. We had our group excursions when we wanted, only a stones throw away from the property at Palm Beach, Moomba Beach and the main strip of Oranjestad. Thank you Bram & Merlot Villas for making our holiday exceptional! We are already planning our next visit!
