Come for the view and have a cocktail it's a beautiful place. The service and food is well let me say when we arrived the host was sleeping on the couch:)Overpriced for what you get it looks like they are trying the part of a high end restaurant buy seem to fall short on both points but did I mention the view it's a 5 out of 5!

We loved this restaurant so much we came three times in one week on our honeymoon. Food was flawless, the views are beautiful, and the staff is ★★★★★. If we come back to Aruba it will be for this restaurant.

Go for the views, go someplace else for better food and better service. If you have a big group you'll be taken care of, if you have a small party you'll be ignored.

This was our 4th visit to this restaurant in about 8 visits to Aruba. We made an online reservation about a month earlier. We even received an acknowledgement. When we arrived the unfriendly man behind counter couldn't find the reservation so sat us in their overflow area. Not an ideal area.
We all said this would be our last time to this overpriced restaurant. When you pay almost $50 per entree you expect people to greet you with a smile.
Our food once it arrived (took almost an hour) was cold and tasteless. Every sauce on 4 different entrees tasted and looked the same..even the soup we ordered as an appetizer had the same sauce. Soup was cold as were our entrees. Very disappointing..
Will never return. Plenty of great restaurants on the island that appreciate your business.response / report this review -

If I could leave a negative star rating I would. I came here for my one year anniversary and Valentine's day, and the service was completely non-existent. First, we were seated late after making a reservation weeks in advance. Then, our waiter came by for our entree order, and then said "Bon Appetit" when we were served. We literally didn't interact with him at any other time.
We ordered their "signature" seafood fetuccine and the seafood ravioli, which tasted and looked like a microwaved Olive Garden dish. To top it all off, one of the waiters (not even our own because we never saw him) leaned over my girlfriend and grabbed the receipt to look at the tip we left. He didn't say a word, and then walked away! We have never seen this behavior from any waiter/waitress at any restaurant ever!
I had come here several times before over the past decade and none of my memories even remotely resembled this night. I don't know if new management took over or what, but I can say that I will never come back here again! There are a lot better options in Aruba if you want a nice view during dinner!response / report this review -

If I could give a zero I would. Firstly we booked a day prior by phone and when we arrived they had no booking for us. Secondly we specifically asked if there were gluten free options and we were assured that there were lots of options. They had one dish only gluten free and a couple of salads. So ordered what I could, waited a hour and then the server forgot to place my order, told me i would have to wait an additional 20 minutes which honestly would have been 40. No attempt at all to rectify their mistake. Will say truthfully everyone else enjoyed their food but if you have allergies like me don't waste your time here. Food may been good for the others but everyone agreed service terrible. I own on this island and thoroughly disappointed. For gluten free sufferers go to le garage downtown. Chef was amazing. And come on restaurant owners it's 18 years since gluten allergies have been a major issue. We would like to eat too!

We have been coming to this restaurant for years and always have been pleased. Our last visit two nights was our last. Ordered cheese lasagna and the food was Lukewarm at best. On return of my dinner it still was not hot. The Manager came over after the waiter took my plate and said to me “I stuck my finger in it and it was hot” I was stun by the lack of professionalism like I the customer was stupid. No apology but did remove from our bill after we insisted. Never again!

Probably the best view location to eat dinner on the island. Food was good. My wife and son had a fettuccini and shrimp dish that was outstanding. My fillet mignon was good, but a little tough. Very reasonably priced wine list by the bottle.

Right next to the California lighthouse, this is a perfect place to witness glorious sunsets. Italian cuisine is respectable with great presentation.
The place serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day. Happy hours from 5pm to 7pm.response / report this review -

An amazing view is not the only reason to visit this restaurant. The service and food were also great. The waiter was more than happy to take a picture of us with the sunset in the background and even helped compose a cool shot. After eating meat and fish at many of the other great restaurants in Aruba, it was nice to have a well prepared Italian meal.

We've been here twice, got engaged here in 2014, then returned to celebrate our anniversary in 2017. It really is a beautiful place with delicious food. Their staff is so welcoming and friendly (servers love to take pictures for you there to capture the wonderful memories!) The views are breath taking and the setting is very authentic Italian (pretty lanterns and architecture). Worth the money and time during your visit to Aruba!

Don't get me wrong the view here is one of the best on the island. The food was lacking especially for the price. $115 USD +tip for 2. Desert was good. Had an exciting appetizer that was good but probably could have been better. Our entrees were not all that. The best part was my grilled vegetables. Maybe go for lunch or eat on the cheap side during sunset. Cocktails were tasty. One complaint that goes island wide is the waiters and waitresses are slow. You gotta ask for your check if want out in any reasonable time. But I'm experiencing that everywhere.

Very nice restaurant, excellent view of the island. Nice staff, tasty food. Pizza, fish, lasagna, beefall were very tasty. Cold drinks. On the negative side was the waiting time, took like an hour to get our food even if we were the only guests there. I want to believe it was an exception so we go with the 5 stars.

The appetizer was good. The dinner was less impressive. Ate here a few years ago and it seems like the standard of food has dropped. The dessert was by far the biggest disappointment. The tiramisu only took one bite before we sent it back. The view of the sunset was the best part.

Our favorite restaurant on Aruba! Atmosphere, staff, drinks, and food are second to none.
Our wedding song was inspired by this restaurant, by the drummer on the steel pan. We look forward to going to Faro Blanco as soon as we get to Aruba. Time it for sunset and you won't be disappointed. Worth the high price!response / report this review -

I had the pleasure of enjoying my birthday dinner at Faro Blanco. It was AMAZING. I had the steak (with the strawberry) and it was quite possibly the BEST steak I have ever had. I was dining alone and I really felt like the waitstaff made sure to take good care of me and not let me sit there alone feeling sad and lonely on my birthday :( This was my first trip to Aruba and, for the rest of my life, whenever I'm blessed enough to make it back, I will make sure to include a stop at Faro Blanco. Chucho, one of the servers, was especially fantastic. But everyone was really, really Great
