Amazing food. The one thing I wanted to do for dinner while here was seafood and this place past all expectations. Will make sure to stop here anytime I visit.

I've been here twice spread out by many years. Excellent food and great ambiance. the theme is a little kitchy but it's nice and dark and warm inside. doesn't seem overdone at all inside.

Went here for dinner and was not disappointed.
Good starters, calamaris and something with mushrooms and cheese.
The 'catch of the day' entree my wife took was "above expectations".
I took the 'New York steak', wasn't the best steak but wasn't bad either.

    The atmosphere is nice.
Unfortunately we were seating at a table with an aquarium containing just a few small sized fish, even though all but one table were still available.
We arrived early, few minutes pasted opening time, would be nice to get a good table around that hour.

Good to know if you are travelling with a baby; they have good highchairs and a baby changing station.

This place is amazing! I'm sure to visit each time I come to Aruba. While the food and atmosphere are spectacular, the house sangria is better yet! They have a very good selection on their menu and the service is exceptional, too.

Stopped in for drinks and a photo at the bar. Should have had dinner. Chef James came out to say say hello and made us a snack. It was great. Roy at the bar was also very fun to talk to and had great stories of the history of the place to share. Would highly recommend the next time your in Aruba.

Our first time in Aruba and we were looking for a family friendly place. This place was suggested. The fish tanks are neat but the interior was too dark, the linens old, service nice, menu varied but dated (i.e. Lobster thermador etc) and my wife's red snapper was so tough they took it off the bill. Now that I've been researching other places I think if I'm getting in a can from the tourist zone on palm beach, I'll go further to a better place. I would not go back here.

We go put to eat in Aruba every year. We heard about the Buccaneer wanted to try it. Got a cab there place looks like a dump. Hasn't been fixed up since 1950. Got a table ordered 2 beers while looking at the menu found out that they were charging $13 for a Corona light. So we decided to leave they would not call us a cab after we paid for the over priced beers. Had to walk at night to hail a cab. Will never go back Gianni's much much better.

More than 5 stars in my book!! Our first time in Aruba, my husband and I stopped in for a drink. The atmosphere is very cozy makes you feel like you’re in a submarine with the several tropical fish tanks that surround you. The food is exquisite especially when the chef has you sample some of the specials and fresh caught fish of the day, no extra charge! The bartender Roy was very kind and shared the history of the Buccaneer Restaurant with us.
A MUST to visit while here on the island!!

Service was great, atmosphere is entertaining for all ages. Dessert was amazing, we recommend the Reese peanut butter cup pie. Portions were big. Drink prices weren't posted and found them to be overpriced upcoming seeing the bill. Still a good place to visit!

The restaurant was within walking distance of our apartment. The prices were a bit high, but it appears common on the island due to tourism. I really enjoyed the escargot, definitely save for bread for that, or request more bread when the dish arrives.

Two people, two main entrees, and two appetizers, only water to drink $108 USD

This restaurant is superb. Thanks to Bucho, Joy, and Alexandra for taking care of us. We had the catch of the day, Mahi-Mahi, and the Shark fillet, both cooked to perfection. The setting, and ambience was perfect.

Fish & chips was soggy and gummy(fried fish shld be crispy), even the fish inside wasnt great. Im not too picky, I can make almost anything work, this i cld not. I ate garlic bread and french fries for dinner, the worst fish ive ever had. Female server was good but no personality. Buchi the waiter is good. Fish&chip and chicken parm $20ea, other items $30. Chicken parm good, enuff for 2. Fish tanks @ tables was cool. Metal cups keep water cold.

Buccaneer is a nice restaurant, with big aquariums. You eat beside baby sharks, turtles and other sea creatures. In the past their food was very good, but I don't really know what is going on right now. I've ordered chicken breast where almost everything was salty and the waiters where also slacking. I'll check again in the future and will update my review. To be fair, knowing them in the past. I give them three stars instead of a 1 or 2.

My family and I have been coming to the Buccaneer for a very very long time. It is an exceptional restaurant with exceptional food. The service is quality!

I had the Broiled Shrimp, and you may say, well that's easy. No, this was quite possibly the best shrimp I have ever ate. They were cooked to perfection. The rice, delicious. The plantains are in this red sauce that's absolutely amazing. My Dad had the Lobster Thermidor and thoroughly enjoyed it. My wife had the Shrimp Provençal and thought it was delicious as well!

We will always come back to the Buccaneer. Also, this time around, Toby sent us!!!! :-)
