Beautiful rocks you can climb, stroll arround and just explore
visited ayo after the ostrich farm just 5 min up the road.. ayo rock is a nice take in, pretty views, and especially to see these interesting natural formations..there is no guide but the paths are flat stone and stairs. BTW this drive by car will give you a taste of the Aruba countryside and living.
After yearly vusits to aruba this was our first time we went and it is a very nice adventure into the rocks and paths
Pretty cool natural geography. Make sure to keep going on the trail and to walk through cave like area
Loved this. Very unusual & interesting. Good day out, got great pics x
Not as commercialized as Casibari, but equally or perhaps more interesting due to a trail through the rocks. The parking is inside the compound.
There are bee hives in some part of the rock formation. They leave you alone if you do. Just make sure other parties are not disturbing it as well.
This place has many birds including emerald hummingbird. We also saw caracara circle around.
Like being on the set of The Flintstones, this giant rock garden is an entertaining stop if you are up for climbing some stairs and gawking at bolders. Unfortunately there were some massive wasp nests up the path in a tunnel that prohibited everyone there from going deeper along that path. There is a back entrance though with additional paths.
Walkway through very large rocks, easy to do and interesting
One of my top ten favorite places on this Island
Intriguing rock formations park. There are paths to walk amongst the gigantic ailen-looking rocks. Truly a magical place for me.
I could have stayed at this place, Ayo Rock Formation Aruba all day long taking pictures and video. It looks like a dinosaur graveyard. There are a lot of very large rock formations and artifacts that look ancient. My favorite was the one that looks like a dinosaur mouth that is open. We took a local tour bus for this tour, off the Norwegian Pearl. For a local tour, the bus was nice and roomy, with plenty of room for two people in the seat. TIP: If you are going to take a local tour when on a cruise ship, ask to see the vehicle first before you pay. Some of the modes of transportation are very cramped and miserable on any of the islands.
its very nice and everiting but look so you dont fall from of those big rocks
An empty, quiet area with giant boulders naturally stacked on each other
A tourist place nice to visit
The nature is very nice
Wonderful hiking with beautiful views
Very interesting stop with cool rock formations. It has a paved path leading through, with some scrambling and steps involved. It was totally deserted, in the hour we spent there not a single other soul was around. It would have been much better if there had been some signs explaining about the place etc, and the mysterious caged off paintings resembling South African bushmen paintings. There was a restroom building that was locked up, no sign of a bar or anything else.
Very interesting and spiritual place.
Aruba's great rockformation.
Great sight-seeing spot for tourists!
MUST SEE! Lovely rock formation, that you can CLIMB. Cute bar that serves the best mango rumpunch i've ever drank. Great place to take pictures!
