If you are thinking if you should go or not, definitely go! The experience is something else. The variety and number of butterflies is amazing. There are also small sessions where the guides explain a bit more about how the butterflies grow, but the rest of the time you can spend your time wandering around in the small garden (enclosed with nets) and enjoy the butterflies and little fish ponds.

What a fun different thing to do while in Aruba! While none of the butterflies are native other than the Monarch, it was a beautiful peaceful break from the sunshine and very informative! I got some incredible pictures and got to see the largest moth in the world, the Atlas moth.

I surprised my wife by suggesting we visit. It turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. I did not think I was a butterfly guy, but consider me a convert. Beautiful, highly educational, and incredibly friendly. We ended up returning early the next morning to see the butterflies being "born". Owner is fun and inviting and I would recommend a visit for anyone looking for an oasis in paradise.

Great little trip. Staff give a tour around the facility and share lots of interesting info. Some of the largest butterflies I've ever seen just flying about. Great place to bring the kids. You can walk around and try to get a picture of one of these beautiful butterflies landing on you.

An educational and relaxing visit at a butterfly exhibit that actually raises (actively breed) exotic butterflies, not just displays them. For example, they pointed out that it is illegal in the United States to raise exotic butterflies since 1988. Accordingly, you get to see butterflies and all their stages of life and from parts the world you would not see in the United States.

A nice perk is that with your paid admission, you also get a ticket to visit them one time again in that week. That allows you to come back and just relax or two perhaps see the butterflies actually emerging out of there cocoons and Chrysalis is at the break of morning (~6:30-7:00AM).

It was definitely a welcome diversion for my family including two teenagers.

We went here as part of a cruise excursion, and it was one of the favorite highlights of the entire vacation. We took so many beautiful photos & videos! I would go out of my way to return - highly recommend.

Beautiful and peaceful farm. A bit humid and warm there but it is needed for the butterflies to thrive. The guides are very knowledgeable and tell you about the life of the butterflies. Great gifts at the shop as well!

Very nice place. Great for kids! They have a lot of different butterflies and moths and there is a person that explains a great deal about their ecology. You pay once and can visit anytime during your trip to Aruba. My kids loved it!

It's a bit small and pricey ($15 for adults and $8 for kids) however still a great experience. The guides were very friendly and knowledgeable and I learned quite a bit about it.

One bonus thing is that you get a card and are able to go back as many times as you want for the duration of your trip.

The Butterfly Farm was a great learning visit for myself. Make sure to take the paid tour as you will learn a lot about local butterfly and how they begin, get drunk why and when they die. Photos are tough to take as the butterfly won't stop and pose so I would try doing a movie with your phone or camera.

My husband and i visited several times back in April while at the Hotel Riu Palace Antillas (adults only) and enjoyed each visit. Great Staff and totally enjoyable. Can't wait to go back!!

A must see when you are in Aruba. Take a good camera with you. You can visit the place as you as you make holidays in Aruba and pay only once.

A really neat experience with butterflies! The staff is very knowledgeable and provide a brief guides tour. They are willing to answer any questions you may have. Admission is a bit pricey, but well worth it for anyone who loves butterflies or wants to learn about then!

Loved this place. Alive butterflies and fish in the pond. The staff here have knowledge about the butterflies. They also offer kids to feed fish in the pond. This is children friendly place.

Interesting! I would suggest going early in the morning so you can see them birth into butterflies, otherwise it's just listening to the guide explain things for several minutes. He was great tho, but I'm a visual person!

Beautiful variety of butterflies from around the world on one spot. Some guides are a lot better than others. Very calm and relaxing. They open early a couple of days so you can watch the butterflies "hatch" at sunrise. If you go early during your stay they give you a card to come back free the rest of your stay.

Great way to spend an hour or so relaxing watching the hundreds of colorful butterflies. The guides are very knowledgeable. If you are staying on the island your pass is good the entire time you are on the island.

One of the most relaxing and calming places in Aruba. There is a large variety of beautiful butterflies many with very vibrant colors. There are hundreds of them and if you wear a colorful shirt they will land on you. The tour was very good and informative. We learned a lot. The entrance fee is $15 / person but it allows you a return visit. It's well worth a visit.

Must visit. You pay for the entry and you are allowed to return at no additional cost how many times you like while you stay on Aruba island. Guided tour at no additional cost in English. It take around 15 min. Then you can wander around watching the butterflies, which are amass of different kinds there. Some of them can find a rest on your hat with flowers or on your shoulder. Nice. Also the bonus is that it is not so hot inside the garden under the leaves of the trees.
