Family restaurant with a decent mix of food. Solid choice to get off the touristy stuff. Serve some local stuff and Chinese options. Staff is super friendly and informative.

The owner steel from his staff by charge 10% service charge and don't share it with the food & beverage staff. In other word he take the money for him self. I work forntipa myself and can't stand by and watch this happen to others the alao work for tips to make a living. So every body check you bill and ask the waiter and do the right thing and say something about it to the owner. If everyone say something maybe the owner will do different and give the waiters and bartenders what belong to them instead of taking his staff money for him self. He is a crook.

This is capi I was at the peanut restaurant earlier tonight. On the menu it says no service charge. When the bill came they charged 10% extra on the total amount. I been in the tourism industry for more then 36 years. All my life the service charges is split for the waiters, bartender and the rest of the food and beverage employees and this restaurant owner keep that service charge money for them self and nothing goes for the employee. That is wrong doing. They leave no space for the waiters that really give the service and provide for the restaurant to make some extra money in tios while the owners sitting in the office doing not. I will never go back there again.

Inexpensive and delicious food. Also for takeaway. Only downside of Peanuts is that it takes a while before you get your food after ordering (30 minutes).

The food was good. But the waiting time was too much! Even for a Garlic and butter bread we had to wait more than 15 minutes
