Uppity attitude, extremely high prices, mediocre food, poor service. Many better restaurants.

We went to Aqua Grill our first night in town. It was a short walk away from the hotel. If you’re looking for next-level Caribbean patio dining, this place should not be at the top of your list. If you’re looking for something indoors, I would highly recommend it. The atmosphere inside is just right, and the service very good. – especially for a Caribbean island (things move slower out there). This is not my favorite place to dine in Aruba, but it’s certainly a place I would go again and why I rated it like I did.

Great food and service. Went there twice in 1 week in Aruba because Wacky Wahoo lost our reservation one night and Old Cunucu ignored us for 20 minutes after seating us tonight.

Great sea food! We were in a large group, 13 people, made reservation in advance and the hostess lead us to our table right on time. There are a lot of good options of sea food, lobsters, oysters fish etc. I ordered tuna and it was great! It's an expensive place, but the food was great! One of the best dinners I had in Aruba. There is a kid's menu and the food was very good, there is sea food, but also pasta and hamburgers for them.

To high prices for the quality of the service or of certain foods like pasta and chicken

This is a nice place to go for a fancy dinner. The food was good, but not something I find myself thinking about after and wanting to go back. I had the fisherman’s platter (the scallops were cooked perfectly) and my husband had the swordfish (he loved it!). The service was wonderful and it had a romantic ambiance. We ended the night with a slice of key lime pie; however, we’ve never had it before, so not sure whether it is good or not. Overall, good experience but with a hefty price tag.

We have eaten in many other restaurants in Aruba but every time we come back we always eat here and every time they confirm the excellent quality of the food and of their service. They have the best fish of the island. Fantastic!!!!!!

Very good place, the fish was amazing. We had the fries calamari to start and wow!!! Then I had the grilled salmon with a cesar salad! Top quality ingredients and really good service. The only con is that there is a disco next to the restaurant and is kind of annoying.

The positives were that me and my new wife thought the food and sauces were very delicious! But the negatives come by comparing to other experiences we had on the island. There was no scenic view, or nice live music, just an expensive dinner in small portions. We went to McDonald's next door because I was craving some fries and maybe cheap dessert after dinner. The slap in the face came later when we found a free dessert coupon in our coupon book. As newly weds, we didn't feel at all appreciated!

Awesome fish at Aqua Grill. Came recommended by the hotel concierge- i am glad we took the recommendation. The decor & ambience just added to the experience. Our waiter (from Venezuela, cant remember the name) gave one of the better service we have experienced.

What a great restaurant! We hit a couple of Aruba's long time favorites and frankly that was a complete waste of time. Aqua Grill is hands down one of the best in the hotel area. I started the evening off with Oysters on the half shell, I picked the Gooseberries and was not disappointed. My wife went with the Crab Cake and it lived up to the hype. For dinner it was the Seared Chilean Sea Bass which was made is absolute love. The better half went with Blackened Tuna which, no shocker was perfect. We sampled several of the cocktails, Melon Colada, Frozen Caramel Apple, Raspberry Cosmo Martini and the Aqua Caribbean. If you are in the area and you are looking for a great place, this is it!

Place looks nice but there are shortcomings. It started with prices at the table not matching prices published at the door. Prices in the menue are higher and when we asked about it we were given a lame excuse abot old vs. new menu. Prices were high so we thought that food will be at least decent but we were pretty disappointed. The fish was overdone and the quality of every of our four dishes was sub-par concidering the price.
On the positive note I can mention a good clam chowder and rice we got with our dishes.
    Drinks were average.
Not worth te price in my opinion.

Excellent food. I'm not a seafood person but the food was excellent. Plank Salmon excellent. Seabass. Excellent. Crab cakes were divine. Andrea was bomb. Will come back.
