  I was in a big rush and needed my photos developed in under a half hour. I went to Michaels because they seemed reputable.
  I asked how quickly they could develop 10 photos - she made a phone call and said 20 minutes; upload my photos on to their computer and come back to the desk. I was back 3 minutes later and there was a different girl at the desk. I told her what the girl next to her had assured me of. She said I wouldn't have to wait, they would text me when it's ready - I emphasized the girl had told me 20 mins again as I never got the feeling that she cared or understood the urgency.
  20 minutes later, I'm standing in front of the desk waiting. There is no one else there, just the last girl I had spoken to, just standing there. 30 minutes go by. No update, no news, she's still just standing there. At this point, I've missed my deadline to have those photos. 40 minutes go by, she's still standing there doing nothing (other than chatting with another coworker at that point). I felt invisible and insulted - at the very least, acknowledge me standing and waiting, apologize for the long wait, call your developers to find out what's going on, why it's taking twice as long.
  At 45 minutes I can't hold it in anymore. I say its been 45 mins now, ask her if she knows about the pictures, she makes a phone call and says it should be 3 minutes. Over 50 minutes later, the original girl who assured me 20 minutes shows up behind me with my pictures apologizing.
  Quite frankly, that second lady infuriated me with her absolute lack of customer service. I will never go back because I don't appreciate being deceived with a side of lack of care. There are plenty of businesses that would appreciate my time and money.

  Came in to buy some continuous lighting for product shots. Couldn't speak to anyone who knew anything about lighting. Sales guys seems completely out of it and kept getting confused.
  
  I can see why many people write negative reviews of this place. I was happy to spend good money on quality equipment but left to buy online as I'm not going to pay a premium for brick and mortar stores when I can get the same service online.

  Sales staff that work there are the most rudest staff that I have ever spoken to. I called them today to ask about a filter adapter and the guy said he has a one but the box torn apart and barcode in in bag or something. I asked whether all the pieces are together. He said he is not sure. Because he mentioned that it is a damaged good I asked weather he is willing to give me a discount if I buy it at the moment. Then he said " no I'm not going to give you a discount but if you want it come and buy it in the store" I'm not mad that he refuse to give me a discount. The way he talked to me made me completely turned away from ever going there. May be because I only asked about $89 item and they are not interested in selling them. I will never go there.
