Our monster had his bday bash here the other night. Thanks to Mark n his team for an awesome evening. They have been helpful in prep n accommodating our various wishes/requests. Food came out punctually n spaced out correctly (didnt take all the food pics), open tab at the bar went without a hitch (that i know of). We had such a good time that they had to (politely) shooed us out past closing time. The youngsters seemed to enjoy the live band too, myself included (though i aint that young anymore).

Great Bar in the heart of Sydney. Slow service when packed, but this must be expected. Cool vibe and trendy atmosphere. Get in early on Fridays and weekends. Cosy booths and awesome roof top view of QVB.

Amazing cocktails. Very nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. In particular Christian makes drinking here an unforgettable experience by "tailored mixing" your cocktail. Definitely a place to try if you are in Sydney.

Not a good night, don't bother booking a table because the staff will just give it to someone else on the night who says they'll pay more. Adding to that there was people smoking everywhere inside, to be fair I can't really blame them for being bored enough to smoke INSIDE. I was tempted to start myself with how bad the music was. Didn't stay for longer than an hour, cause couldn't see through the smoke haze, had no table (that had been booked), and music was pathetic.

Very good oysters for $1 each. Need to go back again. Go early (Tuesdays 6 pm until end of March) or they will sell out.

Pretentious bar in the Hilton. This used to be a favorite but we don't bother with it anymore. It's a shame because the location and view are superb. The waitresses act like they're doing you a favor by placing your order. They speed walk through and avoid eye contact. To get them to make a pit stop at your table, you practically have to send up a flare. She'll stop for a micro second so you better be quick. The last few times the wait staff have really turned us off. Who has time for that?

Cool atmosphere. Friendly staff. Good crowd. Small private lounge areas for hire. Nice outdoor smoking area. Free entry when you stay at Hilton otherwise$25. Two dance areas. Age group 20-35. Awesome DJ.
