The Yering Station Winery, Restaurant Cafe is set in secluded manicured gardens in the Yarra Glen Valley. With fabulous country farm views from the restaurant. The menu entree average is $23.00 with the mains $40 and upward, desserts from $12 with a cheese board $28. If you wish for a degustation dining $95, there is a %15 surcharge dining on public holidays. We enjoyed a very nice lunch, while relaxing at the views. Even though the dining area is expansive there were not a lot of diners while we were seated. If you are looking for a Coffee and cake, this might be a little over priced.
What a pov tasting of a total sum of not much! Pay or don't pay . you're not going to be impressed. Some of the wines are genuinely good .but only some.
Hard to go past this winery. Staff attentive in the restaurant and knowledgable in the historic cellar door. Excellent food, quality wines, especially the reserves. Beautiful setting overlooking the Yarra Ranges.
Truly excellent! I'm an experienced chef of 23+yrs in fine dining. The new chef is fantastic, hard to fault my 5 courses & reserve wines. Fantastic (my little family) family lunch for my b'day 👍 been before, be there much more. Great work guys!
The best wine I have ever had, I reckon. Every wine we tried was stunning and the people working there are extremely friendly, patient and accomodating. Beautiful grounds as well, obviously. It's also extra great when the lil farmers market is there!
I hope the owner or manager of this restaurant will see this. Honestly the food is good and everyone of us were really happy with our meals. However the biggest setback is the extremely poor and rude service of the waiter. We don't think we will ever come back to this restaurant again even the food is good. How would you enjoy a nice meal when you were treated poorly and disrespectfully?
Stunning modern building set in beautiful grounds with picturesque view of the Yarra Valley country side. As you walk inside the spacious dining area and see the views, the place exudes class. Staff are quite formal and attentive. The menu is interesting and creative. The food matched the promise of the menu, being plated beautifully like works of art and the flavours were delicious. An excellent place for a special occasion.
Staff in the cellar door wine tasting area were fabulous and very knowledgeable. Wines were superb. Loses a star for the customer service at the restaurant - waited 10 minutes to try and attract staff attention to enquire if a table was available but were ignored. Decided to leave after this - lessoned what was otherwise a nice winery.
Performed at and MC'd a wedding here in March. Beautiful location with well-maintained gardens and peaceful atmosphere. It started raining so had to relocate from the gardens to the barn, but the staff did so quickly and efficiently. Reception room is impressive to say the least: huge windows looking out over the Yarra Valley. Food great. Service A1: complete professionals, nothing was too much trouble. Communicated effectively with me to ensure that everything went smoothly. Pleasure to work with.
Terrible service! We went there on Easter Saturday, we got the worse service in Australia. The food was average but the customer service was really dispapointing. We never come back here and dont recomment it to anyone.
Great pinots. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The estate and historic house are worth a walk around.
Wine tasting was a informative experience, really did feel like we learnt a great deal about wines and wine making. The restaurant was a pleasant experience, but the service really stood out. Broke a glass and within 20 seconds it was cleaned away and replaced with another with fresh iced water. Get the Moroccan lamb shoulder - warning: it's big.
