One of my favourites in the region. Grounds are stunning and cellar door is such an eye catching design. Staff in the cellar happy to recommend a particular wine. Have not eaten here but have always enjoyed the wine tastings.

Tasting and lady was great. Recommend the Rose.
    No table service outside.
No Food including platters or anything after 3
No drinks or coffee inside only food
If you want coffee you have to wait around and than take your own (outside only)

Small place so needs booking absolutely. Nice view outside the gallery and vines. Meal was great some starters weren’t so nice. I hope the menu can update bit more frequently or give bit more option for main and starter

Have to pay to taste wines for a start. We decided to sit and have a coffee. We wanted a nice table near a window or near the fireplace but were informed bluntly those tables were only for lunch. In an empty restaurant you'd think they'd try to accomodate customers. Won't be back.

As far as a wine tasting experience goes, this place has some of the better Pinot Noirs in the region. That being said, I'm still not sure of the logic behind charging for a wine tasting?
South Australian wineries don't charge a cent and their wines are far better than Victoria's.go figure.

TarraWarra Estate Restaurant is phenomenal - if you are a TRUE foodie you will definitely fall in love with this place and even agree that it should be on its way to being a Hatted dining experience soon. The Head Chef there is brilliant, the atmosphere in the restaurant is lovely and even better outside on the deck overlooking the stunning estate grounds. The restaurant grow a lot of their own vegetables and herbs, so its not only a sustainable place, but just plain beautiful to visit, the art gallery make it a wonderful day out.

Knowledgable, friendly staff who made or first wine-tasting experience a true pleasure. Nice wooden terrace with stunning valley views where we enjoyed some wine and a cheeseboard. Restaurant looked nice.

We drove about 1 hour just wanna see the beautiful winery, hoping to purchase some great bottles for Christmas. However, the staff in the wine tasting section, he was not helpful at all, we felt like he did not even wanna be there, he was rude and has no any introduction of the wine products, could even not bother to answer a wine question at all. We might think he was bit drunk because he was shaking when he opened the wine. Anyway, it completely ruined our Sunday . We have been lots wineries in yarra valley , they are all welcoming and professional. We do not recommend it at all, this was NOT pleasant to be!
