Great place to kick back and relax. Lots of on grounds activities for the family, a short drive from town and shopping centres. Lovely area and lake around the heritage building, which itself is well kept and a nice place to stay.

We come here often for it's gorgeous, peaceful location. The heritage building takes you back but the modern facilities give you a touch of luxury. Various activities for the kids including an indoor heated pool makes it a great spot for families. Lovely grounds with picnic and bbq areas as well.

Consistently superior service. We often come to the Wyndham as we are impressed with their fantastic front of house service and 'can do' attitude. Nothing is too much trouble. Add to this a venue with heaps of character and excellent appointments, and you can't go wrong. I always look forward to my stays here!

10 minutes from Ballarat city. The hotel is heritage listed and take you back to living in the Victorian era but with all modern conveniences. There is a lake to paddle on and pool, sauna and spa. No restaurant or room service but plenty of food nearby.

A really comfortable apartment style resort in an old converted convent with expansive grounds. We have stayed for several days on four occasions over six years. Well equipped and serviced units. Good proximity to the Goldfields region towns and a good location for drives and walks as far afield as The Grampians.

Building has a beautiful charm to it, however this was spoilt by simple things. The couch in our room was so dirty that the arms were black in contrast to the tan colour itself, a dirty pillow case on a pillow as I put my head down the first night, plates that were visibly dirty enough that I needed to rewash fresh from the cupboard. Finally, arriving on Friday night after over two hours of traveling at 10:15, the staff member that met us at the door, spoke with a tone that this time wasn't appreciated, even after a call to ensure the reception would be open left us already downed by the experience. Otherwise, a great place to visit with fantastic grounds and very kid friendly.

Absolutely beautiful resort. The grounds are glorious with hundreds of rose bushes, beautiful gardens and a lovely lake with swans and ducks. The rooms have a nice traditional feel with modern touches. Very high ceilings and large areas make this apartment feel huge. Overall, probably the best Wyndham resort we've stayed in so far. Will come again.
