My favourite Woolworths in Sydney. Brings back such good memories of when we lived in the area. Maybe my imagination, but they seem to have a far better range of products than other Woolies in the city. A busy supermarket, yet friendly service.
All woolworths are different Marrickville Metro great Northridge so so
Full sized grocery store. Had just about everything I could need. Handy for hotel stay around the corner for snacks, sodas and water.
This is absolutely absurd. I will never be coming back to the store after my horrible experience. I went to grab some groceries and I decided to get myself a few well earned treats (after walking up the stairs to woolies). I got myself a block of dairy milk, a packet of gummy worms, a packet of malteasers, a box of roses chocolates, a block of dream chocolate and a tube of pringles. After making my purchase, I realised that my dream block was cracked in half, and my pringles were not in full form (they were cracked on half) I'm so disappointed I will be attempting to return the dream bar. Overall, a terrible experience.
Clean and convenient. Fresh bread is not fresh and range is limited. Choose fresh fruit and veg carefully. Quality is not always the best.
Great supermarket with all the needs you'll require. Alcohol and cigarettes can be found here too, but don't forget moderation!
Love the new revamped store. Looks modern and the new layout is great. Look forward to seeing what else is in store Can't wait to try the new sushi bar
Freshly baked goods; even has bottle shop attached - great service speed too.
'Fresh Food People' definitely NOT in this stores case.
I regularly find fruit and vegetables rotting on the shelves and 'Fresh' bread that when I tried to slice it was raw dough inside. Most of the Deli staff will point blank ignore you (there are some exceptions to this), and when I tried to buy ham from the Deli yesterday the staff member dropped some on the floor and tries to put it back in with the rest of what I was buying. It is only because I was watching him that I noticed and stopped him.
Last week I found roti bread on the shelves over a month out of date. When I pointed it out to the staff member, he just laughed.
There is another staff member at the BWS who has made numerous inappropriate advances on my partner to the point where she feels uncomfortable to go in there anymore, and when I go in there he is spectacularly rude to me. Last time he served me he actually refused to give me a bag or a receipt, even when I asked he actually said, "no." I'm pretty sure this is illegal.
All in all I will only use this store when I am absolutely desperate.
Good local supermarket. Weird layout
Fairly average supermarket. It's probably worth a trip to Harris Farms for better vegetables, or local shops for other goods. But you'll find all your basics here.
Good, small supermarket for the basics. Shelves are mostly well-stocked and has a large selection of the Woolworths range. Best to shop in the mid mornings.
