Only saw Dr Mike once as we usually go to Cameron Park Medical Practice. But the staff was lovely here and Dr Mike is great!

Reception staff rude, service underwhelming
Consultation lasted 3.5 minutes and 75 dollars charge. They didn’t even put my claim with Medicare, had to chase up with Medicare.

The front desk team was lovely. However Dr. Priya was perhaps the worst medical professional I have encountered. The best adjective I can give her is apathetic. My family just moved to the area and we were setting up an appointment to get established with a GP. First off she was 45 minutes late getting us in, which I’m not sure how she could be behind as then she spent less than 10 minutes total with myself, husband, and 18 month old son.
She asked basic questions while staring at her computer the whole time, seemed inconvenienced when we mentioned some basic medical concerns, and did not physically examine any of us, even to take our vitals, when I mentioned some foot pain. She was dismissive of my questions but didn’t hesitate to order a barrage of tests that she didn’t provide clear rational for. We were literally just a number to her. I understand that medical professionals are stressed and busy, but this was not a taxing appointment for her and she did not attempt to establish rapport or empathy while not hesitating to charge for each “appointment” including my 1 year old, despite her not even looking at my son and then being told billing for children under 5 was at each doctors discretion.
Other practitioners here may be better, and the front desk and nursing staff were great (the only reason I gave it two stars,) but our visit with Dr. Priya was so incredibly subpar we will be looking for other care.response / report this review -

-11:20am appointment 21/3/22. Waited over an hour. Saw very ill-looking man walk out without being seen. Another was upset as they needed to go to work. This made waitroom very stressful.
-This clinic says it’s mixed/bulk billing on some google sites, fyi they don’t bulk bill patients under 16.
-Dr later phoned to ask question that should have been asked during consult.
Overall disappointing, won’t be back for myself or my children.response / report this review -

Reception staff is very hardworking and dedicated to provide great customer service . They always go extra mile to give me General Medical Appointment booking according to my time availability. Quite handy practice on weekends and they are doing great job with vaccinations.Other day I had an opportunity to talk to practice manager and I must say that she is an amazing person and very professional . Tele-consult is the best thing they are doing during this pandemic.

I have visited both wallsend and merryland practice. And every time i saw a new doctor in hopes of finding a good one. I had been very disappointed everytime. Only recently a new dr mahwish has joined and i m very glad to see her she is a good dr hears the patient avoids unnecessary medications and provide good guidance.

The most pathetic and appalling medical care I have ever received. Did not give me any relevant advice or explanation of my symptoms. I'm actually shocked at how rudely the doctor tried to rush me out the door before even attempting to diagnose me. The moment I left I had to book myself a new appointment at another medical centre because I did not receive the help I needed.

Friendly staff, small but clean and welcoming waiting room. Got an appointment fast and bulk billing is very helpful. Doctor was quick and friendly, got my situation sorted fast with no trouble.

Fantastic doctors, short waiting times (usually), bulk billing, pathology service on site. Love the online booking system. Reception/admin staff are amazing. All in all, a brilliant practice.

Yesss. A one hundred percent bulk billing practice.
There's no better feeling than walking out of the doctor's office and out the door without being one cent out of pocket.
