To begin with, Wabi Sabi Garden no longer exists and whoever is running it now is just trading under that name still, despite having a small sign in the window saying they changed management in September. Everything on their website is false - I made a booking through the Wabi Sabi Garden site only to get there and have them tell me it's a different name and menu now. How hard is it to update the website?
The new menu is a joke - decent food but way overpriced for what it is and very weak selection. I ended up paying $55 for a bento box (not even a decent sized one) and then had to pay an extra $9 for a tiny bowl of rice, miso and pickles?? What a joke. On top of that, the service was extremely poor. Some of our entree was brought out cold and we had to ask three times for our drinks. Basically a terrible experience and wish I had been able to go to the actual Wabi Sabi Garden. Doubt they will ever get any returning customers. Don't go here

Food is tastey but small portion sizes, overpriced for what you get. There's better Japanese options around.

    - No go. I do not recommend this place. Food was very bland and there is much better Japanese food on Chapel Street. The sweet potato chips wasn't cooked properly and the chicken karrage was a real disappointment - greasy with no taste.

Recommend to order entree and main meals than set menu. More worth it that way

Amazing food and reasonably priced. Assorted sashimi was delightful. Will be back for sure.

At first first glance I thought we may have made a mistake. Firstly because of its location and secondly because there was only one other couple dining.

After the sashimi platter hit our lips all fears were gone. It's is genuinely up there with some of the best Japanese I have had. I thought the prices were fair for the quality. It will be a regular for sure. There's nothing we had that didn't get us discussing the food like master chef judges. QUALITY.

This is the third time I have been to the place, and it has never disappointing. The food is amazing and the staff are fantastic.

The bonus is they cater for many food allergies, they even had an exclusive menu without garlic and onion.

It was my wife's Birthday and they even sorted out a piece of cake off there own back.
