Rang Tormey's because they were refered by a local business. The lady told me they had a $90 call out fee, I assumed that as they were given the job they would not include this fee. They were told the airconditioner needed a recharge of R32. Their service person was professional and completed the job well. When I recieved the bill by email I was surprised to see 1.5 hours when it was completed just under an hour., also to see a charge of $16.50 for servicing their vacuum pump and then the $90 call out fee a total of $452.60 to recharge the airconditoner and reflare one tube, obvious case of bill padding. The bill was seen 2 days later after I checked my email and found another bill saying I was overdue in paying 2 days??? The job was billed on the 16th same day it was recharged 2nd bill saying ''Re: Overdue Invoice'' was recieved on 18th, by email again. It is a pitty their customer relations does not support the professionalism of thier tradesmen. ( Suggest dont use them unless you get an itemised quote first then get other quotes from people that don't charge a $90 call out fee).

I rang these guys this morning wanting to give them my business, I'm a local home owner in Trinity Beach that lives 1 minute drive from their office and they wanted to charge me $85 call out fee, when I questioned that they said they would halve that call out fee! $42.50 just to drive 1 minute down the road and walk through my gate? I then immediately rang 2 other a/c businesses that said they would come around and look at my job giving me a free quote. Great community sprit tormey air! No wonder I see your cars parked up most of the day in the car park. Absolute Crap, Stay away from these guys.

Kevin & the guys from Tormey's Air & Ice not only very professionally serviced my business premises air conditioner, but after 20 odd years when the old thing finally could go no more, they were unbelievably helpful in getting a replacement sorted out and installed. It was a difficult job that took some time, but it was done with impressive professional style & with minimal disruption to the business. First class professionals and probably my best experience in my many years dealing with trades in North Queensland. Highly Recommended!
