Was greeted by a very friendly face which was a good start. They had plenty of stock. I ordered the potato pie and it was delicious. Also ordered a red jam tart that was sweet and light. They offer free filtered water, cute tables to dine at and books to read for kids

A simple bakery with yummy food and hot drinks. We discovered it by accident and were glad we stopped. Staff friendly and we received a free gift for completing an evaluation form. Chuffed!

The pies at this bakery are simply not worth buying. They taste exactly like every other pie in the district which to me says they are all using the same supplier for their filling. The pasties are simply unbelievableabout a centimeter of filling if that and generally not a skerric of meat. This was good once but very overrated now. Maldon bakery is the benchmark for pasties now.
