Thrifty car rental in Hoppers Crossing are unprofessional and a bunch of thieves. There was some damages to the vehicle before we took procession of it which the staff was clearly aware of. Upon returning the vehicle they tried to accuse us of the damages. What a bunch of unprofessional scumbsgs. Never hiring anything from these guys again

i've been there to rental a car. but one person was there Russel. he was so rude. we had a payment issue. we had a cash but he was speaking so rudely like he wants a fight.

Despite there are some bad rental places, But the Rude Manager and staff have worked very hard to become the worst rental place i have ever come across so far. According to my Experience with them once they have your credit card details , A customer becomes NOBODY. Once they give you the truck their eyes are on your Creditcard to charge customer the ridiculous $5500 access fees no matter how minor is the scratch and then tell the customer to get out of there office at the end.
In my case i got away with lot less however my word of advice is if you can't find rental truck any where and you end up hiring from them. Take the camera and do the videography before you take their truck out. otherwise get ready to pay for the scratches you have nothing do with, they will not listen to you and will threaten you to deal with you in the court, that's what they told me.

Did not have an enjoyable experience with Thrifty. Was called up 1hr prior to the time we had booked our van to be told that we could not have it until an hour after we had requested it. This then messed up our whole days plans and did not leave us enough time to look for another company to rent from as an alternative. There was no sorry or recognition for the inconvenience and to make things worse the ladies at the desk were unhappy and unfriendly and rushed through the explanation process. We only followed through with our booking because we had no other option but will definitely be booking somewhere else next time. Should have read these comments before we booked

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE! DO NOT RENT FROM HERE! No stars for these criminals--if the option was there. We rented a car from them over the holiday period. The salesperson offered me Ultimate Protection and told me that any damage would be covered unless I was driving on an unpaved road, drinking, undercarriage or backed in to something. Well, we got hit with hail on our way home and there was damage. I looked up the policy and the fine print says that hail damage is covered. Sounds great, right? Wrong. She just called me and told me for some reason that she could not articulate that it was not covered. I have read and re-read their policy and it looks like for one, they should have informed me within 24 hours--they didn't and it should be covered. Do NOT RENT FROM THESE SCAMMERS>

I booked suv on 31/12/16 at 12pm in the afternoon for 3/01/17 7:30am pickup..
i got call at 7:25am from Hoppers crossing,victoria store saying that car is not available because it was over booked. well that car was available when i made booking and i should get the car. ALL the plans were made for the day and Thrifty hoppers crossing ruined everything. I booked it for the first time from thrifty and worse experience ever.. old man( may be store manager) was careless, they did not worry about anything i will take this matter to upper level and wont recommend thrifty to anyone.. if guys don't know how to run the business then close the store
old man at the hoppers crossing offered me another car but was asking me for higher price what a idiot..if he is store manager then that idiot should be sacked just ruined my holiday and whole day…..24

Female working in the front so unfriendly and unprofessional! Besides getting the awful service, they slapped me with additional charges and the truck they gave us had a faulty gearbox and brakes and clutch was shotI cant believe that places like these manages to stay in business. Do yourselves a favor and rather go to places like Avis because you'll be saving money and getting better service in the long run.
