On an Anniversary weekend in Brisbane we went to the spaghetti house . The restaurant was busy on arrival and we had no reservation however the lovely young lady at the front counter manage to find us a seat. Our waitress (tilly) was very helpful in recommending a few dishes and suggesting to getting our order in a little faster because there was a few tables with big groups on them. We definitely will be back.

the bigger lady out front is extremely rude and dismissive. left cause of her. hire someone with better service skills if you're putting them at the front desk.

Expanding further on my review. I couldn’t distinguish if she’s a manager or a regular team member but I would only hope she’s not a manager.

I came here when it must’ve been during a dinner rush. I went up and waited for a few minutes. She came to the front desk twice and didn’t acknowledge me. I guess I can understand that since it was busy but she was standing around having a causal chat with a wait staff (definitely not work related) so ???. When she came up to me, before I even got a word in, she blatantly said something along the lines of we’re fully booked right now, try somewhere else. I asked if there would there be a table available later in the night as I was looking forward to trying this place and was happy to wait. All she did was shrug her shoulders and then she walked off without saying another word. She then went back to her co worker to chat and laugh. This may not seem like much to provoke a 1 star review but I’ve never come across someone with such an unwelcoming, don’t care attitude - not even from teenage fast food employees let alone a grown woman.

Staff were friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was nice, but that's where the positives end. We paid $72 for 2 drinks (a soft drink and a cider), a pizza and a pasta. The gluten free pizza base was thick and chewy, yet burnt on the outside. The pasta was underdone. Very underwhelming food considering the price. Please consider changing suppliers for your pizza bases, there are so many amazing gluten free bases available, nobody should have to eat a doughy pizza.

Service was great, staff were super nice and friendly! Food tasted good and was served quickly. Some of the items were a little pricey.
Would be good to scan the QR codes on the table and order/pay for your meal then and there instead of just being able to view the menu.

Exceptional service and the food couldn’t have been better! We didn’t allow ourselves enough time before our show at QPAC but staff went above and beyond to take care of us in time. We managed to enjoy a few drinks, share a starter and a pasta, but decided to get our pizza take away and eat it on the go as we walk-ran to the lyric theatre! Maybe it was the adrenaline, the brisk walk in the chilly night air, but I’m not kidding this was the freshest, tastiest pizza ever!! It occurred to me that others are likely to make the same mistake as us - so definitely allow yourself at least an hour and a half before a show (as we will when we dine here next) and be sure to always be kind to wait staff as this is not a fast food restaurant and it’s not their job to cater to our poor planning! (PS - we made it to our show in time)
