Awesome service from Bob.
I got my mum a new sewing machine after her old one finally gave up after 50 years of solid service. She was a seamstress in her day so it was used alot.
I got her the elna 2000 and she tells me it is a great machine to use.

No issue with the machine, just the 'service'. The website offers price matching & free delivery on all machines. I had to call to arrange this, & a man called Bob tried to talk me out of ordering from them when he realised I wouldn't be picking up the machine but needed it posted. He then tried to tell me a Qld company was closer & also offered free postage. Not so, or I wouldn't be trying to order from Bob. He then tried to tell me they charged $10 delivery. Not so Bob, check your own website. He reluctantly took my order over the phone. The website offers free scissors with my machine, but no scissors arrived. I dared to question it & got a very rude response from Bob. Nowhere does it say no scissors if we price match. Also, my receipt has incorrect warranty details, which I still have not been able to have amended. If you want a decent priced machine, by all means buy from Bob, but if you want good customer service, buy elsewhere. I think I may even contact fair trading to see if the company has to provide as advertised. Very very poor business practice.

Plse note just expressing my experience with Bob the owner of the Sewing Machine shop incredibly rude and lier. He comes across as sweet at the start but what ever you do don't ask him a question he dosent agree with he will turn with anger and rudeness. I worked him out the minute i walked in and asked a few questions that he was rude . Be warned if your buying he will be nice because its in his best interest otherwise leave you will be strung along with lies and rudeness..

I called the store and talked to Bob after calling aprox 4 other shops in Melb for a price match. He beat the price and also gave me lots of bonuses.
He delivered the machine within 1 hour after we spoke even though i was 50km away.
