Modern comfortable apartments, great staff, awesome location on the Swan riverfront. Short walk to a range of quality restaurants
The experience was similar to bed & breakfast style - in a real apartment instead of a hotel room. There is no restaurant at the Peninsula, but we received a voucher to a restaurant at the front of the river. We can cook our own food in our own kitchenette. Great location, with free parking for our car. Hired bicycles from here and had a great time riding around the river. Would love to live here, beautiful sceneries of Perth, parks, and friendly people.
This is a cosy boutique apartment in South Perth which is across the river from Perth. We often used the scenic ferry rides between these 2 sides - the Perth side is the business and shopping district, whilst the South Perth side is a posh neighbourhood (with postcard pictures of the river & Perth). Staff was helpful and there 24 hours. Suites were nice & location was terrific. There was free parking, and the sightseeing spots & restaurants/bars were all nearby.
Location perfect, Perth river is in front. Also got free parking, so very good. Our friend stayed in larger suite (those ones got amazing views), but we pay less for smaller service apartment and still very happy. Will come back with friends again next time.
Great service location and clean rooms.
The room was pretty much what you'd expect clean business like, nothing outstanding not anything below par. Maybe slightly higher price for what you get compared to other capital cities, probably a hangover from the now faded mining book with its desperate shortage of accommodation in Perth.
But the balcony area was great. Cold, stormy weather when I was there but I could still feel hope great out would be during a sunset, sitting out there and sipping a favorite drink. That red sky reflecting off the Swan River water, city skyline behind, the lights slowly becoming visible as the night blooms!
The Peninsula Apartments are one of our favorite stays. The rooms are actual Apartments, not overpriced hotel rooms, with a full, if small, kitchen, separate living room, and bedroom.
Clean, amazingly good value, and staff that are there for the long haul. How long? It has been six years since we last stayed there, and they not only recognized us, but had news of the previous manager who had retired!
The apartment comes is right on the riverfront, and many rooms have river views. They are close to shops, restaurants, the zoo, and the ferry to Elizabeth Quay.
It will not be six years before we stay there again!
To experience Perth - one of the top 10 places to live according to The Economist - I decided to stay in a serviced apartment. Stayed at The Peninsula. Memorable stay, and enjoyed the surrounding area - did the suggested cycling, bbq, sailing, golf and drove to the wineries. Explored Perth and did the river cruises. Which made this experience unique - staying in a cozy apartment in a great location, easy to drive around. Truly enjoyed the experience.
