The courtesy bus was great, both gentlemen that drive us were lovely. The pub was great. I have never seen the kitchen incorporated into the dining room before, it was great to see. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The meal was beautifully cooked. The prices for food and drinks was very reasonable. Will definitely go there for a meal next time we are in Ballarat.

The ribs and chips I had tonight were flippin' tops! :-) this place has fantastic kids meal options and also an indoor playground you can sit right next to. An absolutely wonderful place to take the kids for a nice evening out.

Went there with some guys in hi-vis. Nice to be able to have a feed with them in the bistro instead of the public bar.

Food was excellent pub fare. The parma's were great. Plenty of parking and decent staff.

Have been a few times be and It's a great feed, big portion size and nice and fresh. The kitchen staff were really friendly but It might be time the old bloke with the stache in the bar leaves the face to face stuff to the rest of them. He's a sandy bugger to say the least and seems to miserably "harrrumphh" at even the simplest of requests, I assume he's the owner because there's no way you'd keep a guy like that around the place, being stand offish and deterring customers. If he doesn't want to be behind the bar maybe he should do something else around the place instead, maybe get on the other side and have a frothy and a laugh,. Would do him wonders. Again Nice place, good food and great staff but old mate needs to lighten up a bit.
