They've really overhauled it. Good range off stuff on tap, including a really exciting range of craft beers and ciders with some really great stuff.

It's hard to overstate how much it's improved. My only complaint would probably be the interior is a bit dark, but there is pretty generous outdoor seating.

Really cool, low key bar. You feel like you have teleported to Ireland or old England as soon as you walk in the door. Reasonably priced drinks, cool staff and indoor or outdoor available

Good food, good beer.
A cosy and quaint historical pub.
Popular with the young trendy crowd while still catering to all manner of patrons.
A pub which had survived the test of time in Canberra.

The Old Canberra Inn is one of Australia's iconic pubs nested near the heart of the city. The rustic look, local tap beer, and a fantastic range of food still captures the feel of an outback pub.

Parking can be limited on occasion but can easily be found in the surrounding streets.

It has a beer garden and a couple of function rooms. It is recommended to make a booking in advance for bigger groups.

If you are looking for a place to see the game, probably look at other clubs as it doesn't have many TVs.

Overall, having a meal was a delight. However, you won't find table service so keep that in mind.

Great service off all bar staff. very knowledgeable about beers on tap. Dinner was amazing had a small mistake with the order.my team mate and my self had almost finished by the time we realised and the staff offered a full meal replacement wich we happily accepted. The old canberra inn have by far topped all pub meals I have experienced

Awesome atmosphere, the beers are great $12 for a pint FYI. Food took a bit to come out but quality was very good.

Cosy pub with rustic charm. 3 Fireplaces in the main room keeps you nice and toasty on cold canberra nights. Great beer section and hearty menu sure to fill you up. Options for vegetarians / people with allergies limited but I am sure they would be accomodating if asked (I didn't at the time).

Best bloody pub I've been to in Australia. Fantastic range of craft beers and cidersnever the same. Food is excellent. Great outdoor areas for kids. Enjoy the atmosphere that you can only get from being in and around a historic building. THE BEST!

one of my favorite places in town. Food is good and creative. Good beer, great environment. It's a nice atmosphere, with the old wooden house. There's always gigs, vinyl nights, always exciting.

Food was amazing. Atmosphere is amazing. Really cool little pub to go for lunch. I am told the beers change every time the keg runs out so if you are a beer drinker you always get something new and different.

Charming old pub serving craft beers on tap and with nice outdoor seating (plus a proper smoking area).

I went on a Friday at about 5PM. The vibe was very casual, friendly, and welcoming.

It being in Canberra, I wouldn't be surprised if I learned that the service crew are on a first name basis with half the clientele.

Great, cold craft beers on tap, decent pub fare if you need a bite to eat. Seems popular with the locals. Old fashioned stone floored building with lots of outdoor atmosphere. Recommend if you're looking for a decent craft beer, only a small selection on tap but all were good on my visit :-)
