  I was nervous going to the new National Hotel after spending many great nights there when it was previously opened under old owners. The concept and layout were really clever, the rooftop would be absolutely perfect for a warm night and the entire venue overall was very different from what I remember. The food was beautiful but I felt it was very pricey for a quick lunch on a Sunday. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

  Renovated and relaunched few days ago by new owner who has done an amazing job. Great food, staff and beer. Awesome roof top bar.. this place is going to be a hit.. watch this space

  Agreed with previous reviews, seedy locals. Friendly bar staff but the place needs a bath in bleach or hydrochloric acid. I found a needle in one of the lockers at the end of my stay and nearly flipped. Filthy and disgusting, I can't even believe it. Overpriced aswell but atleast we got the room to ourselves

  This hostel is overpriced at 30 bucks a nite, and it is absolutely filthy. Bathroom showers do not work-plumbing leaks abound-no evidence of any cleaning in any of the "facilities"-the kitchen floors are sticky-I had to ask for toilet paper-The plaster on the walls is crumbling-
  
  ohgoshbut there is one computer with free internet and the beds do not have bed bugsand there are trendy alternative bandsand a bar downstairs-so if you want to shoot up and be drunk continuously the filth will not bother you-just the price.
  
  the place absolutely is DISGUSTING. I have filed a formal complaint with the tourist information office-
  
  Do not bother staying here-OHand they ask for a 100 dollar deposit or your passport
