Our stay at the Landmark was very disappointing to say the least. To call it a resort is a bit of a stretch. When we booked, we were not told that renovations were taking place. Every day at 7.00 am hammering and grinding started and didn't finish till sometimes 5.00-6.00 pm. The in house phone didn't work. WIFI was only free for the first 100 MB then you had to pay. The apartment was stuck in the 80s and tired looking. The balcony needed a good clean. The Aircon was noisy. Complaints to the manager fell on deaf ears. A move to different room would have been welcoming but was not forthcoming m. Not a good experience at all. If it were for the lack of accomodation elsewhere due to school holidays, we would have moved. The best I can give is a 0.5 and only that because the cleaning ladies were nice

Reasonable accommodation and good for the price, be aware it's a serviced apartment and not a resort, there are very limited facilities.

Our stay and my rating was influenced by the pool heating being broken during our stay - to be frank the staff reaction was unsatisfactory (the main reason we came was for the heated pool to swim with my toddler).

Also the lack of free wi-fi in 2017 is below par.

Good location and good views of Nelson Bay with free parking. Wifi is free but only limited to 100MB which is not sufficient for normal internet browsing. Rooms were clean but not above average, still good for the price. I would consider staying here again if I get a good price.

Nice family resort. Has both pool and steam room which we loved. The units have everything you need, however if you plan to bake food you have a microwave and stovetop, but no oven. Comfortable medium firm beds. Great stay!

It was a relaxing weekend. . Landmark has renovated/changed its foyer, games room and also the swimming pool. The apartment we stayed in was also renovated. The whole place felt new and great. .

Had a mid week stay here. The rooms have a lovely vista over the town and over Port Stephens.
However the rooms and bathrooms are a little dated. The decor, painting and appliances could be updated. The room although clean wasn't uber clean, we found stuff behind the couch.
The one thing I loved was the pool. A great joy to swim in.
Technically there is not much wrong with the hotel, but it is the little things that haven't been paid attention to, or something as mundane it the deposit if $1.50 for a towel to go swimming.
It is nothing more than average.

Ok I hope if your reading this you take it with a grain of salt as really theres not much "wrong" with this hotel and other rooms may be different but our bed felt like a slab of timber - also, my pet hate with hotels, is when they push two singles together and call it a Queen WRONG, the ditch in the middle is annoying!

Glad we only stayed 2 nights and it was such a relief to get home to our own mattress.

That being said staff were lovely rooms and surroundings were clean, awesome swimming pool and a great location, great views too.

Unfortunately we wouldn't stay here again because of the uncomfortable bed. Otherwise great.
