Too bad they are closed now
was a good local place to watch sports and mingle on a weekend.
This place is great! It has consistently wonderful service and food. The menu is rather diverse (not many vegetarian or vegan options though) and not overly expensive. The background music is generally good. It is a sports bar however, so if you don't like all tv's displaying sports it may not be for you. Due to the location in both the busy area of St Kilda, and a lot of backpackers, it can get busy and loud, especially during sports seasons. It is great to come to during the afternoon to early evening.
A great pub to watch sport. Good beer, atmosphere and food.
Not really my scene. It's a British-ish pub, but feels a tad grungy. I have had few good pints there though. 3-stars.
Rude staff, dirty pub, horrible wedges under cooked. Never again
Delicious "Spicy Parma" for $15 in Old English pub decor. Was quiet and relaxing in early evening.
We were looking for somewhere to rest and have a drink when we came across this place, which I'm glad we did. We ended up having several beers and dinner as we became settled and stayed out of the rain.
We came to this pub hoping to watch a UCL soccer game they wouldn't let us watch down the road at the Prince Of Wales. We're so glad we took our money and spent it here instead! The staff happily changed the tv and we decided to try lunch and a few beers. The $15 parmigiana special was probably the best parma I've ever eaten and the chicken tower burger was sensational. The beers were cold, they had all day drink specials, and the staff were really friendly. Make this your first choice for a pub feed and drinks in St Kilda, you won't be disappointed!
