If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can see them on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Como. The staff were great, our room was excellent and the facilities were astounding. We chose to stay here for a family weekend in Melbourne. The children loved their room, and we were thoroughly impressed with ours. We used swimming facilities and this was a great spot to relax on a dreary spring morning.
The staff here are excellent. I have forgotten their names, but so friendly and so helpful. Reception and concierge made us feel welcome every time we walked through the door, the bartender in So Bar was great (even noticing I finished my nibbles and restocked me after I tagged in for "grown up time", and staff in the restaurant noticed at breakfast that the plates may have been too hot for our little ones, and changed them straight away. Staff here really noticed the little things, which was nice.
Thanks for being a big part of our recent Melbourne trip Como. We hope to be back again soon!response / report this review -

This is the second stay we have had at this hotel. We are extremely impressed with the size and cleanliness of the rooms and the location is perfect. The staff are very welcoming and helpful, in fact the barman remembered us from 18 months ago! (probably because I had a terrible cold that time and he made me a cold remedy).

It began with an amazing welcome. The team were interested in me and my journey from Cairns to Melbourne by road. The last leg was tiring and ended with peak hour Melbourne traffic. I was welcomed warmly to the hotel, they sorted out my car, looked after my luggage and provided a stunning room complete with soothing spa bath. A drink in the bar with helpful advice from the friendly barkeep, then a huge comfy bed. It was exactly what I needed.
The standard of the service and the quality of the hotel did not vary during my stay and I look forward to returning. Full credit to the excellent team at The Como.response / report this review -

We had a lovely stay in room 522. Very quiet, lovely outlook with natural light.
A bit odd that the kettle is in the cupboard with no power point except at the bottom a little table would be good to set up the kettle away from the TV.response / report this review -

I stayed at the Como as I was facilitating a four day training program in the conference rooms at the hotel. The service my conference group received was excellent. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Every request we had was met with a smile and a solution. The hotel room was spacious, very comfortable and clean. Very happy with my experience at the Como and will definitely recommend the hotel for future training conferences.

The Como is a medium sized hotel with reasonable facilities.
Being female I could have done with a bit more natural light in my room, makeup is tricky under artificial lights.
Some of the bathrooms have fixed shower heads and others have hand units, I would have preferred the hand held unit so I didn't have to stand under the shower each day.
Restaurant only serves breakfast but that allows you to wander out and sample the many local restaurants.
Gym is small but functional and the pool and roof garden are a useful leisure or fitness addition.response / report this review -

Great room, well appointed and modern. Booked in to take advantage of the spa tub, which was nice and latge. The bed was a let down though - two singles made up into one king, so there was a gap in the middle.

Great location; first class hotel. We loved everything about this Hotel. Very friendly staff; chic fit out and we had no issue with cleanliness. Can't wait to come back. Definitely recommend!!

Wonderful staff. Love the architectural lighting and Zen gardens. The rooms are well appointed. Great big bath and shower, plenty of room. The bed would have benefited from a thick mattress topper but otherwise excellent all around.

Absolutely beautiful. Quality of service is definitely higher than what we expected. Most polite and professional staff!
If there is anything to be improved would be the internet bundles. Would be very helpful to have unlimited data plans instead of the small limits (which don't really work well if I run something like Netflix on my laptop)
