Shower leaked onto carpet. Paper thin walls. 2 star food.

It is a nice hotel. Gym needs and upgrade and the prices at the cafe are a little steep. But all in all a great hotel.

Good clean accomodation. Decent facilities although a little isolated at around 30min to town via train.

We stayed here just a single night. Room was neat and tidy. Reception staff were polite and helpful and room price was very competitive.

The room was alright, the bathroom was a bit unclean, no condiments, we had to buy a knife and a pan to cook with as they had the stove top but no pans and only butter knives. I give 3 stars because on our second night I cut myself really badly and had to go to reception for help and the lady was wonderful and very helpful (she clearly knew what she was doing). All of their reception staff are very friendly.

It is good value for money. Okay if you have things to do on this side of town. The buffet breakfast was great :-)

Staff is friendly and helpful. The facilities on hand, like laundry and gym is sufficient though small. The deluxe room is a decent enough size and livable for 2 people.
Our oven was disgustingly dirty, rendering it almost unsaleable given the fumes when turned on. The once a week room cleaning is no where near good enough, for residence staying a lengthy period. The room's door close with such force, that at night you get woken by doors slamming shut anywhere in the hallway.

Good location for the price for anyone who enjoys catching trams or trains into town, or having an overnight transit by the airport(s).
Reasonably-sized rooms, however lack a bit of maintenance (holes in walls, etc). The glass bathroom doors make toilet-time privacy an issue.
Staff were nice. Common utilities like lemon-infused water lacked topping up, so were unfortunately usually empty, particularly when a drink on return to the foyer was much needed.

An elegant, very comfortable hotel which is reasonably priced and very well-located. The only minor issue I experienced was when I attempted to order an 11pm-6am room service item at 11:15pm, and was told the chef had not left the ingredients required to make the item; however, the very courteous staff member I was attempting to order the item from opened 'The Pantry' for me and I was allowed to purchase some snack items. Overall, my experience at the hotel was very good.

In regards to Maggies feedback, I'd like to say as a regular Mantra customer who stays there on the odd occasion 2-3 even 4 times a wk sometimes , I find it hard to believe that 1- there even was big ants there (I've never witnessed an ant in any rooms ever before;) 2- the fact that you rang and they didn't answer any calls (unless u were very annoying which by the sounds of u ) they always answer the reception phone no matter what . Did you try maybe walk to front desk? Prob not !! It is by far one of the best hotels I've experienced and staff, security couldn't be more helpful. Maybe try smiling and being polite maybe you'll get the service your demanding !! You give and take sometimes you gotta take the good with the bad and maybe you'll get good karma :)
