Very disappointing recruitment process. After applying for a role I was asked to send a video cover letter, I did, 3 weeks later no reply and the role has been advertised again on LinkedIn. I contacted one of their internal recruiter through LinkedIn, requesting some feedback and no reply. I accept not being successful for the role, however, It is not ok to not inform an applicant - especially when you have requested a video cover letter.

They value personality over ability and good results. They told me themselves after I completed a long interview process where they said I did very well on the testing but made a decision based on personality. When prompted to explain, their HR person said that was all they were told and then ended the call. One of the worst interview experiences I've ever had. It was embarrassing and hurtful.

Thank you SA and SAI Global for ensuring that the needs of a multinational corporations coffers are first and foremost above those of the battling small business

Selling the distribution rights to a Chinese owned company so they can charge whatever the bloody hell they like just so I can do my job. They need more control over the pricing.

Australian developed standards should be available to any Australian company free of charge. Costs associated with their development should be covered by the government.
Its a bit rough when guidelines essential for our daily jobs in Australia and New Zealand are licensed to an overseas company and then we , the victimised engineers, developers and installers are held to ransom by foreign greed and profiteering.
