Love this place. Try to get there pre-season. Heaps of discounted stuff. I usually buy Cricket gear here, but could never find a cheaper place in Melbourne.

Thoroughly recommend Sportsmart where Manager Tony went above and beyond to help with the repair of my high end spin bike which was 4 years old and is now working perfectly .They are friendly competent and professional

Don't waste your time. Rebel Sport at Southland actually answers the phone when you call and doesn't sell dumbbell weights that are rusted.

It's big, has lots of variety. Weights to cricket and tennis and clothing. Everything you could want from a giant sporting goods storeexcept service. Look around and all staff are busy chatting to esch other or texting on their phones.

Have always had fantastic service whenever we have gone there and have never encountered a staff member that has not been knowledgeable about the section they work in (and across multiple sections in some cases). Great range of products and competitive prices. Weekends are extremely busy. Weekday shopping is less busy (so quicker) but with the same excellent staff on duty.

It used to be our sportswear store of choice. But the range and variety has gone down significantly. Sometimes there a good sales. But overall, it is a waste of time

Terrible service from the sales rep to the cashier. Not sure if it had to do something with my skin being brown because they seemed to be nicer to all the white customers around me. Cashier walked off as I was talking to him when asked for a clarification on discounted pricing (through Active April). Sales rep was only reactive when asked for something, not proactive in making suggestions and giving options. All in all a very bad experience. Would never go back there, cheap prices or not.

Has a huge variety of sporting equipment and sporting goods. Not a massive range of clothing but the footwear department is pretty good. Pricing isn't bad as well and you can bargain a bit for the larger items. Staff are friendly but you need to approach them.
