The store has all the things you'd imagine, most of the time all the catalogue items are in stock and if not the staff will sometimes help you find another store with the items you are looking for.
You can get prescriptions filled out as well. There is normally a 5-10 minute wait as there is normally only a handful of chemists on site.
Overall a good store in a good location.
Never many staff on duty. They also have security. Customers are different.
Hi everyone, just wanting to let you all know about how good the Chemist Warehouse shop in Dandenong is.They are always very helpful when I want to buy things here and I also love the instore radio station called Chemist Warehouse Remix. They play some good songs on they station and I hope they're still playing my favourite song which is called "High" by Lighthouse Family. From Jono and Ben
Some person that cannot speak or understand English properly answered my phone call and claimed that they were the pharmacist ( highly unlikely), and gave me the dumbest response I've ever heard for a query I had with a broken item that was sold to me. Ridiculous. You people need to hire people that can speak English in a place that sells medicines
I walked into this store tonight in hopes of speaking with the pharmacist about something to help with a toothache and was told to take something specific by the pharmacist and then I was greeted in a very disrespectful manager who not only treated me with such disrespect but then refused me service because I would not let him record my ID on their system due to my job.
I explained that my Military ID can not be recorded it is the law in which I was refused service and asked to leave.
I personally think that if this is the way people are treated for seeking help by your local pharmacy's then I suggest that you do not seek help from this establishment.
I just visited Chemist Warehouse on Lonsdale Street in Dandenong and was really disappointed in the disinterest of the customer service person at the Prescription collection point at 8.15pm. I had chatted earlier with the staff at Homemaker Plaza and asked advise in how I could collect my medication from Lonsdale street. They had advised that I could go to the CW and request them to ring for my prescription and that they would happily fax it through. Please note that I offered to show my photo ID and was ignored. Was told straight up that they could not do it. ON further discussion, she said that I should call the Northland CW myself. When I requested the phone number, the staff member could not find it and was unhappy and grumpy about it. I needed my BP tablet and was so unhappy that I could not get my medication. Staff appeared unhappy and not trained. Poor level of customer service, I must say.
Great help everytime i go to this store. Medicunes and other products are cheaper compare to pharmacies if not other retailers. In comparison to store size, not enough stuff. More stuff would be a great help. One thing bad about this store would be the wait for collecting the medicine on scripts. Overall, rating of this store is great.
The prices and range here are great. But it is extremely hard to find what you are looking for. And because of the large size of this store location it is even harder to find what you are looking for. But in the long run, the low prices make up for any extra time it takes, and the staff are always friendly and helpful.
Can have long wait times. Always well stocked
Very cheap products, with great service and everything you need from a chemist you will find there.
Very affordable chemist. It is quite hard to find things as it is very big and the signs are quite small but the staff is helpful and nice if needed.
The place is large, offers many choices o brands (vitamins and supplements, in particular), less expensive than many others, and has free parking available at rear entrance.
One star is being generous. Wanting to buy a product and couldnt read the labels so asked for some help. Begrudgingly a woman walked with me to 'assist' with a tester but they had run out of the product. I asked about products not tested on animals and was told to google the products (wait, what?) so I responded, I can read the label, could you just help me see which ones are animal friendly. She said "the girl who works in makeup is away today." Then she just said alright and walked away.
I had tried a product on my face earlier that day which was burning my sensitive skin. I had to leave work and find a product that would act as a moisturiser and ease the burning sensation. While I work 5 mins walk away from this store, I wont bother going there again.
