I am a first time customer of softwoods. The man who served me, greeted me and served me promptly, and knew exactly what I wanted after a short explanation. He was helpful and answered all my questions politely.
The showroom was clean and it was cool inside.
Parking was easy and they had disabled parking as well.

We have now had 3 pergolas and a deck built through softwoods. Each build has been easy, effortless and straight forward. Very happy with the process and final products. Highly recommended!

We got a pergola done at the back and a veranda done at the front. Gary Ford, Mitchell Stanley, Liam Mahony and our carpenter Peter Holmes who came out to build both were involved in the project. I cannot compliment enough the level of service we received from all of them. From our initial contact with Gary and council approvals via Mitchell, and dealing with Pete and Liam etc was a really positive experience. At first contact Gary spend a lot of time with us going through details and even gave us appropriate advice for our house and we were so glad we actually took his advice. He actually asked us to go smaller as opposed to what we initially planned which was great because what we initially planned would have been way too big. It just shows they put the customer first and what’s best for the house. At the end of it all, we were extremely happy with how everything went. Peter our carpenter’s attention to detail was second to none. Phenomenal work. We were fortunate to get someone who was a perfectionist, and you could tell he was passionate about his work. Peter checked every aspect of the job with me as I did the painting and touch and I chose to hook up one of the downpipes myself to an existing one and Peter talked about it to me and his communication was the best. Finally, thanks so much to softwoods for making this experience such a positive one. Thanks guys! You’re the best. You can see some pics below! Note that final paint touch ups are not done yet and deck is not stained yet as I chose to do the painting myself and so that’s on me.

Awesome service from Softwoods. We had both our verandah and deck built with them. From initial meetings with Gary to discussions with construction manager Mitch and all of their contractors, they were happy to answer any questions that I had along the process. Very, very happy with the end result, they handled everything from the council approval process and did so at a very affordable price. Thank you! 😊

We had great service from Nathan and the Softwoods team. It was so well done, efficient and extremely cost effective. Not being greatly blessed with huge handyman skills the self-completed structure was beautiful and sturdy. All materials delivered as stated and perfectly packaged.

Ive used Lonsdale Softwoods for many home projects over the years. I've found the staff to be exceptionally helpful and the product speaks for itself. Highly recommend.
