Very disappointed as asked for a quote to check a leak on our roof and was charged $125 call out fee for a tradesman to literally stand under the skylight in our kitchen and say yep it's the skylight. Didn't even go up on the roof and as there was no leak at the time and hardly any damage it was impossible to be sure. Totally understand and agreed to pay a call out fee however not for non service. Also understood and agreed that if it was raining that the tradesman could not go up on the roof and the appointment would be rescheduled. As it was raining was surprised he still turned up as according to Alison Murphy "if it's raining he won't be able to go up on the roof and do his job". Barely spent any time at all and rushed off saying had another 8 callouts and clearly did not "do his job". Literally got a quote through for a brand new skylight that afternoon. We complained that we were not happy that a proper inspection had occurred however were fobbed off. Since then no response. We had used them a few years before for a bathroom skylight and were very happy hence why went back to this company but with the lack of response and customer care will never use again nor recommend. Don't waste your money.
In response to your reply; that's exactly what I asked for was for somebody to come back and reinspect as we did not feel there was a complete inspection and I quote exactly what I said in my email to you on 4th May "if it turns out your rep was correct, so be it". We have now had somebody else come out, go up on the roof and find loose tiles next to the skylight and problem solved.response / report this review -

Made an appointment for a quotation,back in August for 16/12/2021, From Simply Skylights, quotation today between 8.00am and 2 pm,
Arranged to work from home today.
Missed a text from Derek at 7.42 ( If you don't reply I can't visit)
Expecting a quotation, worked through emails and I didn't check my phone until 8.30, When I read Derek's text.
Phoned Derek, and asked if he could me an about time for his quotation,
The unprofessional reply. "texted you, you didn't reply, I am now in Nth Sydney, having done two other quotes, you didn't reply. you are not getting a quote.
His agressive reply is unacceptable, had Simply Skylights informed Derek will text the morning of the quote and you must reply or you will not be
quoted. Two quotes in 50 mins 10 ks away ? Don't think so !
I have a batroom renovation business, when I send a person to quote between 8 an 2 I expect it to be done. NOT a salesman running his show, Does Derek work for Simply Skylights or vise versa

Excelllent communication from Simply Skylights. I was always kept informed of what was happening when, and they followed through with phone calls etc. Increasingly rare these days! Plus, the skylights look amazing. Thanks, Simply Skylights

The Skylights were installed by 2 competent trades men who carried out the installation in a very professional manner, they laid out drop sheets to collect any dirt/dust and on completion cleaning the whole area.
