David welcomed us upon arrival and we very knowledgeable with all the local attractions, restaurants, golf courses etc. apartments are in a great location walking distance to the town (roughly 3 good drives🏌🏼♀️🏌🏻🏌🏼♀️!!!
Rooms were very spacious with a large living area and we had a lovely balcony overlooking a park.response / report this review -

Loved the spa bath in my unit! It was so great to unwind in after a long day at work and then spread out in the king size bed. The manager David was very helpful - he had a lot of knowledge about the local area.

Unfortunately I had a very bad experience with David from Seahaven today. I had booked 2 nights in the middle of the week, Wed and Thurs.Unexpectedly I had to cancel one night (Thurs) as I had to attend a funeral back in Melbourne of a young relative.A friend came with me when I checked in a little bit earlier than normal check in time, it was 11.30am, I had asked beforehand if I could drop my bags off, and then I was going for lunch with my friend. David was going to charge me for the second night,and I explained I wouldn't be staying the second night as I have to return for a nephews funeral,(which I had told him over the phone) he became very angry and said he would have to charge me an extra $20 for cancelling.( fair enough)I politely asked that was necessary as I was paying $135 for just me for the night , he then just started shouting at me and said he could charge me another $135 if I complained. It's the middle of winter, middle of the week and they were not booked out, standby rates advertised outside but apparently my cancelling a night had really inconvienced him and lost him potential customers.I gave him $20 cash (the cancellation fee) but he just kept shouting at me and said he wasn't going to be brow beaten and he was determined to get his point across, by this stage I was almost in tears.He showed me to the cottage and kept shouting at me, followed me into the cottage shouting, I just wanted him to get out of my face.My friend ( who is a local school teacher said that I should go and stay with her and family).She was also shocked by his behaviour) I almost did just want to forfeit my $155 and leave immediately.
We put my bags in the studio and left to go to lunch ,with David following us to my friends car shouting.
I am now back at the studio cottage and really shaken up by this experience? I wont be recommending this place to anyone.The cottage itself is reasonably clean and comfortable, really just a bedsit with a bathroom attached.Cheap linen and blanket on very hard bed, this place is definitely overpriced and overrated.David was a complete bully and gave no thought to the fact I was grieving the loss of a young relative, I think he thought I had made that up.I feel very shaken up and I won't be recommending this tacky place to anyone.Ocean Grove which is nearby has plenty cheaper,better and friendlier accomodation.I think David should seek some help for anger management.response / report this review -

Stayed for three nights. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. Warm inside with all necessary facilities. Close to shops and good variety of restaurants in area. Had a pleasant stay.

Absolutely loved it. Hosts were welcoming and accommodating, the apartment was clean and spacious.
