I took the car in, they diagnosed the problem - I was quoted $900 for parts and Labour. I was asked to then return the following week on Monday at 7am as the parts needed to arrive. I organised a lift to follow me, I dropped the car off and my ride took me home. I received a call about 2 hours later saying it would now cost over $3000.
How is is such a miss-quote possible? I declined to pay this and had to back for a 3rd time to get the car and went to another mechanic
We have since told friends about our experience only to hear similar stories. Steer clear of this place - yes they have some good reviews, but if you read enough this is a common practice.response / report this review -
