  Booked an appointment to have my undercut redone with tracks in it, got there and was seated right on time, no waiting.
  I told the barber (I think his name was Dallas?) just do whatever design you want.
  He was friendly and professional, and did a kickass design, just off the top of his head, with some awesome fades in it.
  Very impressed, and I'll definitely be back.
  Highly recommend.

  Well this is easy to say that I've had my worst ever haircut experience and refuge.
  
  Where do I start..
  I walked in and a young kid with short sides and Afro top, was sitting at the reception he told me I could jump in a seat and that he'd cut my hair. He told me that the other barbers were supposed to be there and were running late.. so already the place seemed dodgy and unprofessional.
  
  I told him that a friend of mine got there hair cut here and uploaded a live video so I thought I'd come check it out, that's when he replied "oh yeh he gets his hair cut by one of the barbers" which left me wondering ok and what are you so already felt uncomfortable feeling like I was being handled by someone with no experience.
  
  ANYWAY. it gets worse, from the get go I was asked the question, "where snouts do you go out in cairns? " which I replied I don't go out, I'm a little bit older now and over that scene, apparently this guy loved town because every bit of conversation made even after that was, when you go out to town where do you go and such and such..
  
  HERES WHERE IT GETS BAD.
  He then proceeded to tell me that he had been out that night befor, mind you I was in there at 10am.
  So I asked him what time he got home, he said well lockout was at 3 and then he went to the casino after that.. so I was having putting my head on the line to a kid who has already told me he's not a barber nor has he had any sleep, hungover as hell. And then he even had the balls to say, oh you trust me tho don't you I said I guess.. anyway after being scared to death the whole time, I asked for a zero fade on the sides which he did, he also used the cut throat blade to tidy my hairline and has left a slit on the top of my head and a cut on my skin which I felt straight away as he done it. Anyway I paid for the cut and jumped in my car, I looked in the mirror as you do and have a closer look at the job that this very unprofessional person had done, and I pulled the top of my ear back and right on the tops on both the left and right sides were about 20-30 hairs on each side long strays about 3cm left.
  
  I had to come home and pull the shaver out and do it myself
  
  I would not reccomend anyone who wants to be treated properly to go to refuge after the experience I had, then again it was my first time there and the other guys might be great. But this young kid was there biggest let down for me. I'm not the kind of person to ever leave a bad review, on trip adviser the only reviews I leave are good ones.. but after being told the guy cutting my hair hasn't slept been out drinking pissed out of his face spent all his money, cut my forehead with a blade and left so many stray hairs I don't know how the hell he could have missed them to be honest I had to leave an honest review. Disgusted.

  Clean. One thing that this place takes advantage of is its staffs common value of artistry stored within each of them. Ranging from fades to beard trims, beard fades, cut throats, lineups, tracks what ever you want, they can do. Each barber holds their own unique creativity and perspective on perfection. With each barber comes a new style and story yet finish with the same result.

  If you want a wog style hair cut, from someone that doesn't listen to what you want, then this is the place. My guy had blunt scissors that couldn't even cut my hair. He kept asking to hack my hair shorter and went full butcher on it, he clearly had no idea how to cut hair other than the one way he was taught. On top of that, he cut me with the razor! Avoid this training chop shop.
