We had a group so got to stay in the modern apartment as well as the other standard rooms. The place was absolutely convenient and owner was very friendly and could accomodate all our needs .Rooms were spacious and well equipped .Will definitely re-book.

We stayed in one of the new apartment style rooms. It was very modern, comfortable and quiet. Yes, the hot water does take a while to heat up but the owner is well aware of shortcomings and is working hard to bring all the rooms up to scratch as well landscaping the grounds. We will return here.

The toilet seat is broken in unit 1 it's a known issue but owner chooses to sticky tape it only. No large plates to use very limited equipment in kitchenette. Can't open curtains as window opens directly into carpark. Friendly staff but they need to ensure TV works properly lost channel 9.

Great little motel as you come into port fairy from the east.
Even though it’s on the main road through town, the rooms are surprisingly quiet.
We had a great little room, fully equipped with everything we needed, including a corner spa. The price was incredibly good value, for what the accommodation offered.
The young man at check-in was extremely friendly, and as the room was not let the following evening happily gave us a later checkout time.
Beds were firm and comfy, and a/c efficient.
It was hard to find fault. But if I had one little thing, if you’re hoping to have a bit of a sleep-in, perhaps room 1 isn’t the room for you. Situated behind the office, once the phone starts ringing it’s like it’s on the table beside you. At one point it went on for quite some time and that was the end of sleep.
But if you’re not lazy like us and are happy to be up and about, by all means go for the spa room!!
All in all, though, we were most impressed. For friendliness and value for money I’m not sure it can be beaten. Will certainly stay there again when next in the region.

Air con didn't work properly. Went to turn lamp on and it was full of cobwebs. Lamps, top of bedhead and shelf in bathroom haven't been dusted for a very long time. Shower floor had previous tenant's hairs on it and to top it off one week after we left the owner accused us of taking an old bathmat and refused to return our mobile phone which was accidentally left there unless we paid for the mat. It was the most expensive of the motels we stayed in on our trip and was a very unpleasant stay and experience.

Last Sunday night (3rd March 2013) we arrived approx 2230 in Port Fairy and could not find a place to stay, all were closed (late at night) or did not want to be bothered. Thomas, however, broke his sleep and saved our day.
His Motel was clean, functional and exceptional value, we shall return.
I have no hesitation in recommending this property.
