Enjoyed a lovely night out with work mates, food was great but portion sizes were really too large. We all commented on the plating size and felt bad about the wastage.

Stayed there last Christmas as we were touring the great ocean road and surroundings. Perfect location. Clean and well maintained. Spacious, comfy rooms. Very spacious toilet/bathroom. Didn't try the food as we were booked with plans. Easy parking, good WiFi connection. The pool is ok, a bit small, but it doesn't get crowded. Loved the picnic area and kids playground. All my pre-requests were catered to upon arrival. Friendly staff.

Dirty and disgusting - stay here if you want to sleep in other people's filth.

We complained and showed photographs - rat sack, open jars of rotting food in the cupboards, dirty socks and jocks lying around. It was so bad, seriously, I've never seen anything more gross (in that context!). The light globe was out so I couldn't read, so my partner swapped them over - and then we noticed that the light shade and the light globe were crawling. We called to complain to the manager who was unavailable. When she rang back, she got us with two friends who are locals in the car, on speaker. The manager said that we could have the night free (we had only stayed there as a stop gap for another Best Western) and that she would credit the other Best Western for our night. Lo and behold, the manager of the other Best Western calls and says we have an unpaid bill. We call the Manager of Mid City to ask what's going on and she said that she had never said that. We called our Warrnambool friends to double check we weren't going crazy (and to complain about how terribly they were treating us now that we weren't in their faces). Seriously, I wouldn't stay there again if you paid me.

I was in the function room for an engagement party, which was awesome due to the occasion, the people and the band. The venue presented pretty standard for a function, except that the straight after dinner time finger food was all laid out on a table early on and left to go cold while people worked up an appetite. Had a great night though, in great company.

Average. Had a training session here. Catering was basic but fine. Corridor smelt like cheap disinfectant. However service was fine and the conference room was well laid out and equipped. Would have been nice if pens were provided.
