I had an older air conditioner that needed to be modernized with new zones. Luke did a great job of retrofitting the unit, arrived when he said he would, he was professional and courteous. Luke took the time to walk me through the control panel. Thanks Luke and Plum great experience !

I had a problem with my heating system as it did not have a thrust through the vents. I contacted PLUM thinking they have a good repute and can help. They sent Michael to have a look and he came in, went up into the roof and came back in 5 min saying it would need a complete change of duct and some other parts , that all will cost me $900.
That was a shocker as the house is only 2 and a HALF years old and brand new heating cooling system cannot crumble to such an extent that it would need a new duct altogether, Any way he charged me $220 just for those 5 min he spent in the roof and when I questioned he said yes mate its Ten years of school and apprenticeship expenses that you need to pay.
I was shocked and was not satisfied.
Got other people who are very well reputed and probably bigger than PLUM, to check the problem and believe me or not fixed the problem in ten minutes without any additional spare parts.
Told them what had happened to me and they were shocked.
I have lost trust in PLUM for ever . As an ordinary person you think this man who goes into the roof will give you best diagnosis and would not fool you and would not rob you by telling you lies. You trust them, Its Just like a doctor, if a person with flu goes to one Doctor the diagnosis is Flu and if the same person goes to another Doctor the outcome will still be flu and not CANCER.
I would like to get a refund of my money and never go back to PLUM.

We had a gas ducted heating system installed today by Plum Heating and Cooling, Hoppers Crossing. We found them to be a very professional company in all respects. The process started with a visit and quote by Bradley who was a well dressed, well spoken young man who clearly explained the proposed system to us and when we chose the model we wanted he immediately developed a quote on his laptop, emailed and printed it out. We received a number of emails and a call to set up the install date and time. The installation was done by Duncan and Nahn, a professional team who arrived on time, discussed with us the position of ducts etc and did the work within the quoted time. They tested the system, explained the controls and left us with all the necessary documentation. Based on this experience and a prior one with this company over 15 years ago, we would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

Toby, Jack and the team were polite, friendly, and punctual. Very pleased with the installation of ducted evaporative cooling and split system air con. Plum employ professional staff that provide excellent service. Highly recommended.

Both heating and cooling units were serviced by a technician from Plum who arrived on time. I am unsure if blowing dust surrounding the ducted heating unit and compressed air within the evaporative cooling unit is what is called a ‘service’. Also, there was a fault in regards to the cooling unit; a fan needed to be replaced. Resulting to the service becoming a diagnostics, totalling $400 for 'labor'. Since then I have used another firm to complete the job. I will not use Plum’s services in the future and would not recommend to others.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. My farther got stung $240 for a 'technician' to come and 'fix' a split system, to tell him it can't be fixed and drive off? My farther then looked at it and saw 2 dry solder joints and resoldered the joints 'fixing' it. What a joke. I know there is a call out fee but for what? A tech whose sole job is simply to turn up and say 'it's broken' and drive off charging $240?

Extremely disappointed with my experience with this company. They didnt arrive in the window when they said they would, and failed to notify me when they would be on their way. I have been waiting in a vacant house (which they were informed of), with a baby, waiting for them to turn up and they've been a no show. When I didn't hear anything I had to call at the end of the window to find out he's running late (odd given he only had 1 job before mine). Had they had the courtesy of calling me to advise he wasnt going to meet the window, it wouldnt have been a big deal, i would've stayed home, and waited there. This is average at best. Had heard good things about this company, but clearly things have changed.

Hopeless service. I rang with a problem and in spite of suggestion to send a technician to come and assess the problem, the lady on the phone flatly refused to help. I rang another provider who came promptly and sorted the problem.

We needed to get ducts cleaned, I rang and booked in on Monday, while on the phone to Anita discussed having the unit serviced while they were out, which was a saving of $50. Wednesday they were able to attend. Aaron R gave me a courtesy call on the day to let me know his ETA. While Aaron was servicing the unit he notice the condensation pipe was leaking. He arranged to come back at a time that suited me to replace same, he also replaced the return hose which had deteriorated since installation. I would recommend to friends and would use this company again in future.
