The new owner of the caravan park was so helpful and friendly! We are already planning our return trip. Thanks again for helping us with the kayaks!

New owners of the campsite are great and very helpful. Bungalow was clean and tidy, facilities such as the pool and BBQ area were also great. Great location about a 2 min walk away from the water. Would recommend to anyone

Worst value for $35 i have ever seen!! Recommend this campsite to absolutely nobody. We were told on the phone we could have individual campsites in a fire pit, the lady on phone didnt even work on the site. This was un true information, and 5 minutes after we paid and said we didnt want to stay based in receiving false information, the argued accused me of lying about the phone call and refused to give my money back, we left immediately to stay the Jervis Bay campground for $5 more a night and totally worth it. Palm Beach campsite looks like you are pitching your tent in a flat bare backyard and you can not even park your car on site, it has to be parked along the road. Very unhelpful and i will never return or recommend. ** if there was an option for a zero star rating i would have used it 😠

Clean & tidy, pet friendly, kids playground, ball games, swimming pool, good kitchen and bathroom facilities. There is a firepit that is lit up every evening and they put movies on a projector every second night for the kids. The owners are friendly, I'd recommend this place to anyone with a pet or family.

To start, our tent spot was basically on the car park, and the owner of this place is such an unprofessional rude and ignorant see my email conversation with him:
ME: I'm writing in regard of the 2 transactions of $200.00 made on my and on Jeffrey Levy's credit card.

Apparently, we've been charged because we were loud after midnight.

First of all, we had someone probably from the security of the camping coming in the kitchen area around midnight and asking if everything was ok and not asking us to leave or anything.
Around 12.30 a girl came and asked us to leave as no noise was allowed after midnight. We apologized, cleaned after ourselves and left the camping.

After doing the checkout and leaving the camping, I checked my bank statement and found a charge of $200.00 on my card from your camping.

This is not only unacceptable but also illegal. You made a transaction on my card without informing me. No one word upon the checkout, not a phone call, a voice mail or email.

Secondly, in your registration card, it clearly sais: all noise must cease after midnight, failure to adhere may result in eviction from the park.
Nowhere in your registration card, it mentions of noise fees.

I've been working in hospitality for ten years and I know that it doesn't exist such a thing as noise fee.

I know my rights, therefore I expect you to process a refund on my and Jeffrey Levy's card immediately or I will have to take legal steps.

    OWNER:Hi Alessandro,
The fees you refer to is a fuckwit tax! This includes refunds to other guests, after hours staff call out fees and damage to property! You have no consideration to other guests as security and staff told you to leave on 2 occasions!
    Regards
    John

    ME:
First of all, mind your language.

Secondly, as I said already your staff asked us to leave the kitchen area once and we did!

And then, damage??? Which damage are you talking about??
We always cleaned after ourselves and we didn't damage anything.

We weren't a bunch of animals destroying your camping we were just a group of friends having few drinks and a laugh. FYI we were playing cards when we were asked to leave.

Again, I expect you to refund the money immediately in order to avoid legal steps.

    OWNER:
    Go the legal steps moron!

I had to cancel my card and wasting my time in order to don't let this ignorant take my money.

Great location quiet friendly outgoing people, neighbours in other cabins are respectful of each other management was really nice, a bit pricey but probably because your right on the beach and close to everything. I had a great time staying here, I do wish there was abit more space and more room for bunks. But in the end definetly worth the money you have everything you need not much but enough for the stay cabins are awesome! Thanks for the great weekend!!! Definetly will be recommending

    Worst camping experience ever.

We came, paid for spot, set up tents, spent one night Next day when we came back after all day out of camp, we realized our tent are gone and there are different ones on our spot. How come?

Whoever takes cares about the camp, is not able to tell those coming what spot exactly they paid for and where they can set up.

We got instructions where to set up (no numbers all over the camp spot to make sure it was out spot), we followed instructions and management realised on the next day that we are actually on spot we are not supposed to be and decided basically take our tents and stuff and give our spot to someone else (AND chuck our tents on the pile of rubbish! and our stuff in dirty shed!)

When we finally reached someone on the phone, we got basically almost the same spot as we were set up before (just about half a metre difference)! And they were behaving like nothing actually happened

Dont recommend! What an approach. Ruined the holiday

Complaint raised with Fair Trading Agency

We were refused entry to the caravan park as they were severely overbooked (regardless of us having booked it 2 weeks in advance and getting a confirmation email).

In the course of a conversation with the manager, through the receptionist for the best part of the discussion) we were told that:
    - all campervan spots are booked
    - they can allocate us 2 tent sites for additional payment of $20 (which we agreed to but without the payment).
    - they claimed we booked a tent site

At the time of booking and the time of our arrival, the only sites shown on the website were "powered sites" which at the caravan park means "campervans" and there was no detailed description. We paid $78 for a night which is more than usual at a reputable camping site.

They changed the website while we were talking to disguise the fact that they misinformed us. We were told by the receptionist that the same situation of misinformation by the website happened earlier that day.

By that time we were ready to find another campervan site (we are travelling with a 3 year old and she needs a safe a place to sleep for the night) so we asked for our money back.

They refused the refund and threatened us with calling police - which we eventually did ourselves and were directed to the fair trading agency.

We wanted to settle it by either staying on site without having to pay extra (as we already paid for the service in advance) or getting a refund but the receptionist was repeatedly told by the manager to close the office and ignore us leaving us on the road with no place to stay for the night.

At the end of the day we left, contacted our credit company, got the money refunded and wrote an official complaint to the Fair Trading Agency.

    Avoid at all cost.
