Went to the bistro. Good quality pub food. Friendly, well trained and attentive staff. Worth going for a feed and a beer.

Had the Flaming Chicken Parma, the combination of Chicken and Pulled Pork was great, but would be even better with more BBQ sauce to really punch the flavour up to the next level. Friend had a steak and was thrilled by how well it was cooked.

We came here for our Mothers day dinner. Meals were spot on, perfect and dessert was to die for!!! Service was fantastic also. keep up the good work Purvies!!! 😉😉😉

Prices are a bit high considering the service. Usually something like a parmigiana is only over $20 because of the service from the staff. In this case, walking to the kitchen to order and then the bar to buy drinks.
The quality of the food is decent. I enjoyed my meal and the portion size was filling enough that there were leftovers afterwards. Without a takeaway license we were unable to take these expensive leftovers home.
The most positive part is that the food felt fresher than the competitor, La Porchetta.response / report this review -

Did 5 stars so people will see my commrnt.
Unprofessional staff, a lot of them wearing casual/ innapropriate clothing. Chicken was like rubber, asked for medium well on my porterhouse, got well done and a chewy flavourless hunk of meat. 2 Stars because my spirits were well mixed.response / report this review -

Not a bad local. Has a really nice selection of food in the Bistro. Some decent selection of tap beers. Nothing too fancy tho. Heaps of events during the week. No Pokies!!
