I've been coming here for over twenty years on and off. Great character pub with fantastic meals. Beer prices are inflated and quite honestly a joke. Nothing like ripping off the hand that feeds you. Won't be back!

The Paddo is unpretentious. The staff are friendly and professional at the same time. Best pub in the world.

Very good food, go here for meal.
Bar is generally bad service, normally the staff at the bar go out of their way not to serve you and seem miserable when you finally steal eye contact and they have to come and pour a beer.

Hard to rate this joint. Cannot think of a pub I'd rather have a beer at; Great variety of ales, a vibe steeped in history, and an eclectic patronage makes this my go to place for a bevvy or 10. However since the recent refurb the food is just not the same. Eg my pizza yesterday was charactised by undercooked glue-like cheese and a base as soft as the Adelaide Crows. And unfortunately underwhelming fare has become the norm here. I know it's pub food but a basic level of quality would be a good start! Won't stop me from regularly having a pint there but.

Very nice, large venue and good atmosphere. Delicious food complimented with live music. The Thursday parmagedon special was terrific food and awesome value for money $$$. Would recommend.

Extensive selection of beers is putting it lightly. Good pub to watch the footy and enjoy a steak sandwich.

What an awful place. Went to have dinner there tonight.. a WEEKNIGHT. We're refused entry as my partner was wearing thongs. Went back to the car to get shoes. Was again refused entry as the shoes had coloured laces. How pathetic. We walked back to the car only to see 2 guys walk out IN THONGS!!! won't be going there ever again. They really need to change their attitude.

Great pub, generous food portions, cold beer, good to sit and get out of the heat. Too bad about all the bigoted fascists leaving negative comments though. One would have thought that if they actually *did* frequent the establishment, they'd be happy for the extra custom coming into the place, rather than try to segregate and discriminate against people just because they don't hold the same warped views that they do. Good on you Paddo !! Keep up the good work!!

Bloody disgraceful. Used to like the place - been there for beers and gigs a few times with mates, and we just moved down the road so excited to sample a few more brews. But somehow they reckon it's alright to host Pauline Hanson for some bloody One Nation shindig and there's not way me or my mates are going there ever again. Gobsmackingly shameful.
