Premium price for a poor quality outcome, had 3 bathrooms renovated took far too long to complete, many aspects to the fitout needed to be reworked or reinstalled. Called head office multiple times to sort out post completion issues, no response.

The only aspect of the purchase that went well was the pre-sales and sales. The planning was disconnected and the execution was worse. Had to stay on top all aspects of execution. The only saving grace was the professionalism of the tradesman. Since the install, the shaving cabinet sold to us has broken in under 3 yrs, because it was cheap. This is after spending $50K on both our bathrooms. When we contacted them about this, they were black and white on the warranty period, and basically didn't care. So if you want to have someone that cares, after the bathrooms are done, then look somewhere else.

I found that the team at Oxford was extreemly thorough with my quote and explained each step of the reno very well to my partner and i so there was no mistakes in what we wanted. Bathroom renovations are never easy but the results were certainly worth all the upheaval. The project manager was wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. The contractors too were professional, friendly and did excellent work. We're very happy with our new bathroom and would like to thank the showroom staff, Eddie our project manager and all the tradesmen for their efforts in bringing about such a quality end product.

BIG mistake using Oxford Bathrooms.
Bathroom floor tiles were supposed to be matt finish but they laid gloss which is too slippery in the shower. As we were all at work when they did it they accused us of agreeing to using gloss before they laid them. Impossible. The tilers could hardly speak English and we were not at home so at no stage did they say “are these the tiles you ordered?” They were nice at the start of the project but as soon as an issue arose they went on the defensive and blamed everyone else but themselves.
The project manager offered $150 discount. $150 for risking our lives on slippery tiles every night? Get out of town! He tried to tell us to use a shower mat so not to be slippery. No way!
They knew they did wrong and it would mean ripping up the floor and walls, waterproofing again which they tried to weasel their way out of at every turn but in the end they did it and then tried to charge us for the waterproofing once again. One of the managers phoned us and asked if we could help pay for the tiles as it was partly our fault and as they had installed the correct wall tiles then we should “come to the party” and agree to pay some of the wall tile costs. Unacceptable. Oxford was responsible for every mistake that happened.
We demanded that they use a less aggressive tiler contractor as they would turn up at 6am when it was supposed to be 7:30am and hang out on the front lawn until time as we couldn’t let them in as we had to prepare for work, kids off to school etc so they had to wait and they were loud, argued in the own language way too much but would swear in English every third word. So embarrassing for the kids to have to listen to them.
Finally the bathroom got finished 10 days after the 5 week contract. They never offered any discount after putting us through their incompetence. Glad to be finally over.
Please, this company is not worth the stress and aggression of its contractors. Do not even consider.

The showroom is ok, staff were apathetic. We spent 45 minutes waiting to be approached for help. Then another couple walk in and immediately get served. Get your head out of the toilet Oxford. We walked out, no bathroom renovation from them now.

I would like to say I just had my bathroom renovation completed and I am so happy with Oxford Bathrooms. My experience from the moment I rang for a quote to the completion of the bathroom was exceptional. Oxford made the renovation process easy . My Project Manager, Andrew was terrific and communicated with me all the time. The showroom staff in Brookvale were very knowledgeable and guided me through all the necessary steps. I would definitely not recommend Oxford Bathrooms after my extended experience with them. What should have been a relatively straight forward project to renovate a bathroom, toilet and laundry ended up laboring in to a four month nightmare of trying to get the work finished to standard, including repair to the damage to non-project areas.

I was told on a number of occasions that they were doing me a favor by repairing their accidents and they also imposed conditions on them repairing the damage to non-project areas, for example they would only carry out the repairs if I supplied the materials for the repairs.

They also have low standards when addressing issues and go for the minimal cost solution, for example filling a hole they accidentally cut in an exposed beam wooden ceiling with blue treated wood.

We are very happy with our new Oxford bathroom! Top quality tradesmen - friendly and professional. Clear communication - well organised and they came when they said. Our original concept had a few spacial problems which our Project Manager, Gerald, quickly identified. He re-worked our ideas into a more functional and attractive design that maximised the space we had to work with and the end result is excellent. The quality of workmanship and finish is first class and we would highly recommend Oxford to anyone.
