  A fantastic venue with friendly staff and atmosphere. The menu is a perfect blend of pub favourites and more modern meals for those wanting a little more pizazz. Plenty of beers and wines available and the dessert is a must have. 😊

  We stayed one night in Honeysuckle cottage. The accommodation had everything we needed for a 1 night stay. It was in a good location for us, walking distance to some of the attractions we wanted to visit.

  The National is a nice restaurant, it has a "small-scale" charm like a family diner. I enjoyed the hambutger I got although I didn't agree with the name, they made it sound all posh-like, mentioning the breed of cow in the title, not the end of the world, just not for me. Our waiter was nice and we managed to ease the awkwardness I usually feel when the waiter/waitress takes my plate, didn't know his name, but give him a raise.

  These guys have amazing parmas (something like 6 types). The food is great and the service is incredibly fast. The bar refit is beautiful too.

  The food was lovely with far and friendly service. $16.90 lunch and drink deal was good value. We had (diamond) room for a group and I couldn't recommend it more highly

  Went out for my fathers birthday. Dinner was lovely. Fast and polite service. Desert was amazing and they even put a candle in my fathers sticky date pudding for us.

  Try the Bistro, the meals are delicious but won't break your wallet. If you get a chance have a few drinks in the bar as the copper beer boilers and piping is on show against a fantastic backdrop of reclaimed wood walls. A lovely modern rustic atmosphere.

  I visit here every few months for a meeting and lunch and we're always well looked after. Good food and friendly staff, always a pleasure. The meeting rooms are separate from the main area and fit for purpose.

  Adequate hotel. Clean rooms good food. Has a pool. Centrally located. Heating is not too effective
