'A bit of a hit and miss' Myer Geelong has some fantastic staff who go out of their way to make sure you as the customer are being looked after, that said there are some that barely make eye contact at the register and seem incapable of being helpful.
Really poor customer service . Very little effort and poor knowledge of the product I needed to purchase . Never again! Very negative experience . Online shopping for now on.
We recently visited your store, Geelong , mens department, we were served by Catherine. The level of service received by team member Catherine was exceptional. Full accolades and appreciation.
sincerely Sonia Kavanagh.
Happy staff. Quiet store
The older female staff in some departments are very rude, obviously been working there far too long, and are too stuck up to serve you. Bras and pyjamas/women's shoes particularly so. I won't waste my time there anymore.
Myer is a large middle to high end department store. Since the renovations it has been a delight to wander the halls. Staff are helpful and sales are a plenty during the Xmas and EOF sales.
Walked in yesterday to buy a few items and needed assistance and knowledge from staff. We were served quickly and helped in electrical, however we waited for 30 mins in homewares for a staff member who never came as they were swamped at the register. We ended up being helped by electrical staff member in the end however staffing levels for sure need to be increased!
Geelong Myer is not huge but manages to pack in quite a lot for all buyers. Would be great to have a fashion show there on occasion and my only other suggestion would be to put a mirror in the bag section (please!!!!) as there is no mirror to be seen. I've asked for this every time I've been into the shop and am not surprised when I see very few shoppers in the handbag section - simply because there's no mirror for seeing what they look like! Other than this, staff are very helpful and consistent and there are regular sales.
