  Great location in the cooler months for a family walk around the summit first to take in the local landscape - then climb to the peak for a well earned rest on the sandstone lookout. Very natural, not over developed and not overly busy - plenty of parking spaces.

  Great place to see Newcastle and surrounds from high up. Great views on a clear day. Has toilets and barbecue facilities. Great place for a picnic or a BBQ with family and friends.
  One can also go for Bush walks here. Normally gets busy on summer weekends
